Washington Hospital

I hurried through the sliding doors panting, looking around the busy hall, was I too late? Oh, dear! I raced to one of the nurses near the computers, I sure hope that I wasn't.

"Um I'm here for Vivian Adams, she's in the…" I took a deep breath, that small run really took a toll on my body. "...She's um in the delivery room"

"Vivian Adams?" she asked, typing on her keyboard.

"Yes yes" I sighed running my hand in my messed-up hair I didn't quite care about right now.

The moment the nurse gave me the room number I raced once again, drawing on my breath sharply, I needed water but that would wait. I checked the room number and, seeing it was the one I was looking for, I opened the door.

"Get some rest," The doctor said and she nodded.

He turns to me.

"Are you her guardian?" he asked but then he paused when he saw my looms.
