EMMA

I groaned, smuggling more against my pillow. It was softer than mine back home, I just wanna lay here for as long as I could. It made my dream so pleasant. But the constant ringing of my phone couldn't let me enjoy this peace. The familiar tone I have known for months and was ignorant to change, I could hear the music within my head and it just won't stop.

Fed up and with my eyes still shut tight, I tapped my way to the nightstand, hoping I would find my phone or my glasses. I first found my phone, and just with my fingerprint, I heard my aunt's voice.

"Emma… I have been calling and calling, I thought I told you to be close to your phone at all times"

"You have?" I groaned still trying to catch the first thing she said to me, it was really hard to keep up with her ranting like that, in panic.

"Why does your voice sound like that, are you okay?"

I rubbed my eyes. "I'm fine, okay. I… slept after hours of studying"
