In a void of nothingness, a strange entity was resting as he stared into the far distance.
He had no physical body but was a humanoid figure entirely comprised of blue lightning. The lightning seemed tamed and controlled as it jerked at the speed of light. The entity sat in the air with black all around him as he focused on the Universe within his proximity.
This strange entity was known as a Creation Deity. He had the power to create and control Universes, having countless lives in his hands. A being of unparalleled power such as he was very rare within the Void.
Having sat quietly for thousands of years, focused on managing his Universe, the Creation Deity suddenly felt strange.
He felt...danger.
It goes without saying that the Creation Deity was shocked as well as nervous. Beings that could make even him feel danger were rarely seen in all of existence.
Having lived for millions of years, the Creation Deity was ready to sacrifice whatever he needed to continue living. Life was the prerequisite to all things.
Waiting quietly and nervously, a dim light appeared before him. The light was a deep and dangerous red. The Creation Deity felt no danger. In fact, he couldn't sense anything. It was like he was unworthy to even know of the existence of this dim red light.
Under the watch of the Creation Deity, the dim red light took a form. Its form was a red misty figure with blood-red angel wings. There were twelve wings in total and they made the figure look huge and authoritative.
Instead of acknowledging him, the red figure turned his head to look at the Creation Deity's Universe.
Wary, the Deity spoke. "Might I know which lord has visited me? I have caused no trouble, done no harm." His voice was ethereal and powerful. He still clung onto the dignity of a peak existence.
The red figure did not move. He simply said one word.
"Watch."
Commanded by a higher power, the Deity looked at his own Universe. He followed the figure's gaze and saw a young man. 'A mere mortal? Not only that, only Stage 3. Who the hell is in my Universe?! He attracted such a being!' The Deity was inwardly griping that this tragedy had to befall him. Although nothing had happened yet, one wrong move and he might lose this avatar and Universe. While not a devastating loss, it's his face that will be utterly destroyed. As a peak existence, the Deity knows that face is nothing in comparison to one's life. However, losing it and throwing it away are two different things.
"Who is this mortal, may I ask?" The Deity asked with a respectful tone.
Finally looking at the Creation Deity, the red figure stared for a second before sitting in the air comfortably.
"A future Deity."
'!?' The Creation Deity was shocked. One had to know that a Deity emerged from every thousand Universes. Although not rare, it is a surprise.
'This being must have a motive. Maybe he is recruiting Deities? Or...hunting them.' At this thought, the Creation Deity shrunk his presence slightly. Afraid to even breathe too loudly. He knew that he couldn't escape from this red figure even if he used all of his power. He could only be very compliant.
"Do not worry. I am only here to watch. Simply entertainment." The red figure wanted his new companion here to relax. It was a bit annoying. "Join me, won't you? You never know, you might get something out of this experience."
Far from convinced but slightly less nervous, the Creation Deity sat in the air with the red figure and looked at the mortal.
'Stage 3, Water path. Qing Fang.' The Creation Deity instantly got all the information on this mortal. He was living in a Universe that he created so the Deity had authority over him. Nothing was hidden, not even his deepest thoughts and memories.
And so, a being at the peak of existence and a red figure sat and watched the mortal Qing Fang.
