Mythology part 1
In the world of Qotal - your heartstone determined all about you. There existed 2 beings in the beginning, Maztica and Zectal. Zectal desired to unite with Maztica, however she refused him. And it was from Maztica and her disgust that Qotal sprung forth. Zectal, angered by Maztica and her refusal cursed Qotal to forever lose divinity. Maztica and Zectal fought, however Maztica who was born to give birth could not stand to Zectal. She could only change the curse slightly to allow Qotal immortality. It was then that our Qotal was born. At first, there was nothing in our Qotal, however, Maztica was so saddened that she created the Tulag. It was then that Qotal had a heart of earth.
Tulag (the heart of Sky) was to be with Qotal even after her loss of divinity forever. It was from this union that Animals were born. This life displeased Zectal greatly and such he cursed Tulag to crush Qotal, it was from this that all life went extinct. Maztica upon learning of this became distraught and in an attempt to separate Tulag from Qotal planted a few of her tears inbetween both. The result of Tulag and Qotal's attempt to free themselves created Cyrio. Cyrio upon seeing what happend to his mother and father gave life to the tears which became a tall Cypress tree. Maztica, seeing this so overjoyed she blessed the tree and gave it the ability to support all life. The trees roots firmly planted itself at the base of Qotal and its branches reached to the top of Tulag. Maztica in fear of zectal's retaliation ordered Cyrio to protect Tulag and Qotal. This is how the heavens and hell came to be.
The tree sensing support for life moved its roots deeper through the 7 layers of Cyrio. The roots now reached the end of Hell. This allowed it to move its branch up to the 7 layers of Cyrio, the roots now reached the end of heaven. Maztica thus became queen of all. Zectal grew jealous and demanded Cyrio to allow him to reside in hell becoming king of hell. Maztica was displeased from the curse Zectal gave and created plants and all animals. This greatly displeased Zectal and from his jealousy, he began attempting to create life. His first attempt of the creation of man failed, for he made them from mud and they could not worship him as such he destroyed them in a flood. Near all mud men died. Except from one. This ones was accidentally imbued with a sliver of Zectal's heart stone - obsidian and became the moon, casting darkness upon Qotal and Tulag.
Maztica answering the pleas from Tulag and Qotal attempted to create man as well. This time she made them from wood, however the wooden people could not worship and so were destroyed. Maztica grew enraged at her failure and thus searched for Zectal to unite. Zectal however was still trying to attempt and so Maztica in a fit of desperation, turned into a succubus, this form successfully piqued Zectal's curiosity and seduced him, and so from Maztica's diamant heartstone combined with Zectal's obsidian heartstone created a single man of gold. His heartstone shone so brightly that it nearly blinded Maztica and Zectal, in a panic, they sealed the man of gold above Qotal to nourish her and Tulag. Tulag once he discovered the man of golds treachery cursed the man of gold to never pleasure Qotal with his light and for him to always be overtaken by the night for half the day. This created the first day.
Zectal now fully convinced, after his failure ended up creating the daemons, he willingly came to Maztica to unite and as such he pleasured her for 7 days and 7 nights. It was on 8th day that the men of bronze came to be. It was from this willing union that produced true, enduring humans who would give human blood sacrifices to Zectal, father of all, and nurture Qotal as worship for Maztica, mother of all.
This is because human blood contains Zectal's seed and such he demands it's return. When it is fully returned the curse upon the man of gold will be released and the pleasure Qotal receives will be so great that it will end all life and start the new age of gods.
However Maztica, jealous of the seed in human blood created the angels from her own seed. This created a stark opposition to daemon who were beings of all that is evil. The angels were beings of all that is good. And that is how everything was made.
