The Morning is Here

Throughout last night, Max barely slept for more than three hours because he had been discussing a lot of things with Antaf. It wasn't like he needed to sleep — being a vampire — and it wasn't like having a companion to spend some time with was a bad idea.

Everything they discussed was directionless with the both of them restraining to share too much about themselves. In fact, in the case of Antaf, he shared nothing regarding the Blood Fiends which would make Max know more about them or where they came from.

Antaf was indeed a very outgoing Blood Fiend leader whose traits included sounding bold and daring, adding more to the reasons why Max didn't know how time flipped slowly inside the dark room.

When the morning arrived, the Blood Fiend had to say goodbye.
