He approaches the hut slowly, seeking it out, and there he sees the doorway, well hidden and he’s pleased. The dried bones of the two prisoners who built the hut for supposed freedom lie scattered around. The hyenas have done their work, and nothing further remains.

The area is very isolated and suits his purpose for now. The base camp of the people he seeks is not far from his reach, and they are unaware of his presence here and soon, very soon he will release the demon and have his revenge. But for now he will wait until the time is right, for now, his demon can feed on the village and grow in strength.

Amos sits back, pleased with himself, for there is no way that the fool of a woman or the South African can know of his arrival, for he is far superior in every way to them. And he will pick the time and the place for the final confrontation.
