Ready To Go

Iris looked at the thick folder in her lap and shook her head in disbelief. She and Mariano just came back from the office of Calixto's lawyer. She had signed and got all the papers proving that she was the sole owner of Calixto's mansion. 

Calixto had left after their excursion to the botanical garden where he had discussed some of his plans with her and Mariano, also he had sold her his mansion in that botanical garden. 

However, this morning, she woke up and it was just her and Mariano again in the penthouse. He had told her the schedule for today, which was to visit Calixto's lawyer.

"I still couldn't believe it," she said, looking at Mariano in the rearview mirror.

"Well, it's true whether you believe it or not."

"What was Calixto's order before he left the penthouse?"

"Are we going to wait for him or should we go ahead?"
