230 Kenneth's prison

"What the hell's going on?" Anabel muttered as she looked at her soiled hands.

"You hit your head pretty hard," the ant responded. "And your mind was weak, so this place took advantage."

The 'Gateway to Hell' was alive with thoughts and feelings like a person. The dried trees embellished by thorns, the soil, and even the air were alive! It was the finest work of Kenneth, the God of captivity.

People who ventured into the darkness for whatever reason and didn't make it back out oftentimes weren't killed by Taranis or the little ghoul girl that kept him company; they were either murdered by the plants or were driven to suicide after the darkness took control of their weak minds.

Anabel would've died if the ant didn't interrupt.

"So, it was all a dream?" Anabel questioned.

"Not entirely," the ant responded. "What's that in your hand?"
