"Not the right book?" Eros repeated nervously. He took slow steps backward as he stuttered out, "A-Are you sure?"

"Are you calling me a liar?"

"N-No, of course not," Eros immediately responded. "W-When I went to Hell, I spoke to a ghoul with very high intelligence, she said she was a shaman before she died. She brought me to the place Alia used to live and gave me that book."

"Alia was a shaman from the human world," Elias stated.

Cold sweats washed Eros' naked body and before he could swallow his nervousness, Elias appeared before him. He had no time to escape, Elias' large hand was already wrapped around his slender neck.

He lifted him off the ground, "She never lived in Hell." His hold tightened, "Why are you lying to me?"

Eros' feet swung back and forth as he struggled to breathe. "I-I'm not lying to you," he choked out. "I-I swear. You got the wrong book because I was too quick to believe the words of that ghoul."
