Chapter 51

A week passed. Things were slowly getting back to normal but there was still one thing to take care of, Sazhi's trial. Ika and Tunga briefed Neo on how a trial was conducted in Odunda.

"He isn't looking good," Tunga whispered to Neo as guards brought Sazhi in. Neo still felt overwhelmed, mainly because intense duties had been placed on her since the day of her crowning.

"I think it's the grief," Neo said. Sazhi hadn't seen Takhi because he was in captivity while Takhi went back to healing.

"May we begin, my queen?" Ika asked. Neo chose members for her temporary council.

"Yes, we may," Neo said. "Sazhi, you are on trial today because you confessed in my presence and that of many that you are guilty in continuing a dark family agenda for the benefit of your lineage," she added.
