Blood And Iron (ASOIAF/GoT)

Reincarnation is not bad, says someone who has gone through the process several times, there are only certain occasions that you die at the moment you are born or have a long and boring life as a servant of some noble, the most normal is to reincarnate as the 99%, but when I finally had the opportunity to reincarnate as the center of political power, a European king, fate played a cruel joke on me, sending me to Westeros, the land of treachery and intrigue, luckily I was not transported alone, but sometimes I think it would have been better if I had come alone. Disclaimer: I do not own Game of Thrones or Asoiaf. Disclaimer II:Some stories will feature topics such as torture, rape, sexism and xenophobia. These topics do not represent me, I only seek to give the most historical perspective possible to the social relations of a medieval era. Disclaimer III:I don't speak English, I am in the process of learning, so I will make several grammatical mistakes, any help on the lexicon is accepted, I am not a person so deeply versed in the lore of GoT

POV of Wilhelm

''Anything to report on what happened in the city?'', I said as I got on my horse.

''Eeh, nothing important, except that Roon found more Valyrian steel and we figured out how to forge it again, only uuuf.... let's just say it's not pretty if we want to make our own steel this one involves human sacrifices'' Aleksanteri said as he came out of the tent and putting on his mask.

We all just stared at Aleksanteri

''Human sacrifices?.... GOTT! what a terrible way to die, in a pagan ritual'' said Charles

''Are you sure about that?'', I asked, a little surprised.

''No, only that to forge it again it is necessary to sacrifice animals to invoke some spells and protections to raise the temperatures and protect the blacksmith'' said Aleksanteri getting on his horse.

''You're joking, aren't you'', I said with a worried face.

''I would like to, but no, *sigh* I saw with my own eyes how the blacksmith made the sacrifice and magically his furnace came to life and began to invoke spells that protected him from the infernal heat and blinding light that was in the metal, he spoke in classical Latin or Roman and there were runes of Germanic origin, although within my knowledge I could not distinguish which tribe or precedence they came from I only know they are Germanic'' Aleksanteri said staring at me.

''We should kill the blacksmith, nothing good comes out of human or animal sacrifices, they always involve an evil god or demonic forces'' said Charles a little scared.

''Is that the only way to forge Valyrian steel again?'', I asked the Finn.

Aleksanteri nodded

''All the information we have is about a book and the city Qohor, so unfortunately that's all we know now'' Aleksanteri said following me on his horse

''Well then it's a necessary evil, Valyrian steel is a weapon we can't waste, we need to find more Valyrian steel, utensils, tools ornaments whatever, if we can melt it down even armor we can create'' I said as we headed towards the city.

''Yes that's why we should send someone to essos there Valyrian steel is common within how rare it is because the free cities were the colonies of the Valyrians and they left many of their gadgets behind, we could even find the precursor books of the steel process and find out how to produce it'' Aleksanteri said as he patted his steed

''I will think about it, but now we must concentrate our resources in the reach, so Aleksanteri go to tumbleton start investigating the leaders of the religious rebels cells, I want their names and I will see to it that the supreme septon outlaws them and we will see to it that they understand that resistance is useless'' I said with a serious tone.

''Is it necessary for so much blood to flow, my king?'', Charles asked.

''It is, those religious must understand that they cannot sabotage our war efforts without consequences, if it is necessary that in tumbleton blood runs it will be done, but first we will offer them the alternative, a better deal and protection of the Prussian laws, if I cannot be loved by them, it is better to be feared'' I said without looking at Charles and concentrated on riding on.

Aleksanteri immediately rode south, followed by his men.

arriving at the city Roon updated me on all the events that had happened in my absence.

Dragon pit had finally finished its cleaning and demolition of the main structure, since my plan is to turn it into a sort of fortress bank to always have a garrison inside the city walls because to protect the gold inside the tunnels will require many knights will have the valid justification to have a couple of thousand men.

The musicians were ready to play, to perform some military marches that hopefully the lords of the seven kingdoms would like, but mainly it is to give some respect to our infantry that by chance was the cavalry which stood out much more than the tercios, although we could wait for some reports from August about the campaign in Dorne.

When I made sure that everything was ready I changed my armor to simply a breastplate, white clothes, some medals and a faithful pickelhaube, I took several horses that were used to the noises produced by the musicians and I am going to deliver them to the retinue of King Robert, it would be terrible because their horses would be frightened and fall off their horses.

I waited at the doors of the city for almost one hour until Robert's cavalry retinue had arrived.

I approached the rebel lords, leading the horses personally.

''King Robert, Lord Arryn, Lord Stark, Lord Tully, it's a pleasure that you could arrive without complications, everything is ready for Robert to be crowned today'' I said smiling.

''I thank you for everything Lord Hohenzollern .... but what about the Lannisters?'' Lord Arryn asked, worried.

''Nothing serious, he is coming to witness the coronation of the new king and to perform the oaths of allegiance'' I said trying to dispel the fears of the lords who looked a little worried about the presence of almost twenty thousand Lannister men.

''But well, I ask you to please use these horses, we have a surprise for the new king and his steeds might get scared if they are not used to noises of this kind'' I said showing him the horses I had brought

Robert was the first to get off his horse and quickly and nimbly got on one of the huge horses that the Teutons are accustomed to using, but at the same time extremely tame and obedient.

Lord Stark followed Robert's example, and Lord Arryn and Lord Hoster had trouble getting on the horses and had to be helped by some of my men.

I gave some horses to the most important banner men of the houses of the Vale of the North, the River lands and the Stormlands.

And slowly we advanced towards the gates

''What surprise you have for us? lord Hohenzollern'' said Robert smiling.

''Patience king Robert, just say you will like it .... just hope you like it as much as we do'' I said smiling as I led the way forward

The lords began to whisper to each other and I did not pay much attention to them, as we slowly passed through the city gate and on left and right were hundreds of musicians with their instruments ready to accompany the triumphal walk to the castle.

Several marching drums started to sound at the same time

''EIN LIED...DREI...VIER!'', shouted the leaders of the marching bands.

The musical bands surprised the westerosis, some of them even stood around watching what was happening because of the loud sound that had greeted them.

The musical corps of the Prussian tercios began to play Preußens Gloria, xylophones, trumpets, bass drums, marching cymbals, marching tuba and the steady sound of marching drums echoed through the streets of king's landing

The Prussian monarch ordered the westerosi lords in ranks four horses wide as they advanced through the streets of the city.

When the group of the great westerosi lords passed the musical corps, they accompanied them from behind as they continued to play the military march without stopping.

As they advanced through the streets rose petals began to fall from the windows of the houses surrounding the street they were advancing down

The slow advance of the procession met with at the next intersection of the streets several columns of Prussian soldiers waiting to protect the flanks of the Westerosi lords.

the Prussians formed lines of three men who walked to the left and right of the horses, armed with certain parts of armor that allowed them greater mobility to take long strides and make their boots clack as they walked.

Robert Baratheon was delighted with the show of discipline with which he had been greeted, flashing a big smile wherever he looked.

To some lords, it was all happiness and a triumphal entry after the war.

But for those who understood hidden messages in actions, this surprise that the Prussians had planned was only a sample of the discipline of his men and how they were slowly entering the wolf's mouth, since everywhere they looked they were surrounded by Prussian soldiers, in every street at every intersection, even on the roofs where soldiers jumped from rooftop to rooftop.

The message was clear to Lord Arryn what would happen if he did not respect the agreement.

For several minutes, they advanced through the streets, where they watched the Westerosis meet Prussian soldiers armed to the teeth in steel.

Staring at them as they advanced

Until they reached the entrance to the castle of the capital where the Targaryens had exercised their power for generations, now welcomed the men who had overthrown the previous dynasty.

The Westerosi lords entered the fortress, leaving behind the Prussian soldiers who marched on and played their music as they rode away.

Many began to dismount from their horses and began to talk to each other

''Lord Hohenzollern, is everything ready for Robert's coronation,'' Lord Arryn asked a little nervously.

''Yes, as we had spoken before, everything is ready, we placed the banners of the noble houses that supported his rise and we added the Lannisters so as not to exclude Lord Tywin from the ceremony as you asked us'' I said while adjusting my sword in my belt.

''Yes, it is necessary for Lord Lannister to be present, we do not want to start Robert's reign with an insult to one of the most powerful houses of the seven kingdoms, even if they did not participate in supporting any side'' Lord Arryn said as he rubbed his hands together.

''We have removed the dragon heads, cleaned the castle from top to bottom, taken out most of the things that remind us of the Targaryens and removed the Valyrian ornaments that were on the walls, so the risk of Robert remembering that the Targaryens are still alive is quite low'' I said whispering as we climbed the steps to get to the throne room.

Robert was behind us as he spoke with some of his banner men.

Finally, we arrived at the doors to the throne room, where I pushed open the huge doors to make way for all the lords.

The first sight we had of the throne room was that half of this room was full of Prussian officers and nobles with an attire quite similar to mine, it only changed if the black was more dominant or other patterns of white or they simply wore a tabard over the armor showing an iron cross or a Prussian eagle depending on if they served the Prussian army or the Teutonic order.

I, walked to my place in front of my men while the Westerosis slowly began to fill their share.

We had to wait a few minutes because Robert had to prepare for his accession to the throne.

When lord Arryn re-entered the throne room, we all prepared ourselves.

Although this coronation was private, it was simply to declare to the surviving royalists that we won.

Lord Arryn would probably hold another coronation in the Sept of Baelor, as was the tradition of the last monarchs.

But now I had to play the role of lapdog to gain the trust of the Westerosi lords.

I was standing in front of the banners of house Baratheon and Lannister and one of my own showing my Valyrian steel sword to all curious eyes.

When Robert entered I was the first one to raise my sword.

''HURRAH!'' I shouted raising my sword in the air as Robert walked in with his hand on his belt and smiled at the sight of me.

''HURRAH!'' followed me all my nobles and officers unsheathing their swords and sabers

Some westerosis drew their swords and did the same.

Robert ascended to the throne, his footsteps echoed throughout the throne room

While Lord Arryn read Robert's new titles.

''Robert Baratheon the First of His Name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm'' said Lord Arryn.

We lowered our swords and Robert began to do his first acts as monarch.

he spared many enemies, especially in his own domains, but excepted some lords, Caron of Nightsong, since his castle was under my control by the forces that began an attack on Dorne in the area.

he gave lord Hoster the right to judge his rebellious banner men, as well as lord Arryn.

I also pardoned certain members of the former king's council, all others will be tried tomorrow for their crimes.
