Blood And Iron (ASOIAF/GoT)

Reincarnation is not bad, says someone who has gone through the process several times, there are only certain occasions that you die at the moment you are born or have a long and boring life as a servant of some noble, the most normal is to reincarnate as the 99%, but when I finally had the opportunity to reincarnate as the center of political power, a European king, fate played a cruel joke on me, sending me to Westeros, the land of treachery and intrigue, luckily I was not transported alone, but sometimes I think it would have been better if I had come alone. Disclaimer: I do not own Game of Thrones or Asoiaf. Disclaimer II:Some stories will feature topics such as torture, rape, sexism and xenophobia. These topics do not represent me, I only seek to give the most historical perspective possible to the social relations of a medieval era. Disclaimer III:I don't speak English, I am in the process of learning, so I will make several grammatical mistakes, any help on the lexicon is accepted, I am not a person so deeply versed in the lore of GoT

''The man's skill could easily look like witchcraft.''-Brynden Tully telling his brother about his time with Aleksanteri

POV of Brynden Tully

''Are we really going to go with that madman?'' said Lyn worriedly.

We have no choice, his orders are the law here and I doubt we can hide from him if his dogs are trained they should be able to find us very easily if we try to sneak out'' I said with a serious tone.

Lyn just gave a big sigh

''Come on let's get armor on before we're late'' I said walking to the sector where our tents were located

Arriving I started to put on my armor and sharpen my sword thinking that I would probably put it to good use in the next few hours.

Lyn followed my example and started to do the same while we waited patiently until the time we were told passed and we started to walk towards the entrance of the camp where we should wait for the Finn to start the mission.

Arriving at the entrance there were only five men waiting with us for the arrival of this man.

''So few?, what the fuck is he going to do in the Tarly's castle, tickle?, everyone knows that the Tarly's are the most militaristic house in the reach their castle must be perfectly protected'' Lyn pointed out whispering.

Lyn called the attention of the soldiers, who were dressed in the same way as all the Finns.

When they saw us, they began to laugh at us

''These westerosis dogs think we are going for a walk or something?'', said one of the soldiers in a different language than the Prussians speak.

''They're so cute, they're wearing plate armor on a scouting and infiltration mission'' said another one in the same language

'I don't understand anything they are talking about'.

''Who tells them to take off their armor before the commander humiliates them for such foolishness?'' another soldier said

''Let them, it's better that they learn the hard way than that we lead them by the hand in this'' said another one

''Well, apparently we are going to explore a little bit. I doubt they would try to capture a castle with so few men'' I whispered to Lyn.

We waited for a few minutes and those soldiers kept laughing at us and kept looking at us

Until we heard the voice of the commander of these men.

''Well, you know what you have to do, gather the information from the other patrols and ....'' said the Finnish man and stared at us.

He put his hand covering his eyes and I could hear that he was laughing as well.

''May I know what the fuck you guys are doing in plate armor on an infiltration mission?'' the Finn said looking at both of us

''eee....well...'' said Lyn

I preferred to keep silent

'Now I understand why they were laughing, we look dumb for arriving here in full armor.'

''Take off your armor, leave it here, no one is going to steal it from you, don't let it happen again, or everyone will laugh at you, we are going on foot, not on horseback'' said the Finn

''And what will happen if they attack us, they will be wearing their armor and we will be wearing just a bit of cloth'' said Lyn.

''You will use this and show your skills in combat pretty boy, you will understand that sometimes it is better to bleed than to have armor that slows you down'' said the Finn giving the sword back to Lyn.

Quickly, we took off our armor and the Finn's group began to move into the forest that was near the camp which is the hunting ground of the local lord.

We followed them for several minutes trying to keep them as close to us as possible, as we were about to enter the forest, we came across one of the patrols that had gone out to scout earlier.

''We have spotted several hunters in the area, they are hunting stags from the forest, we have noticed that they have excellent aim, so be careful commander'' said the patrol leader in his language.

''Did you do what I asked you to do?'', said the Finn to his subordinate.

''Yes commander, I study the foliage in the area and prepare the camouflage, it shouldn't be easy to see it, unless it is very close to you'' said the soldier handing him something.

The Finn handed us clothing made of leaves and branches.

''What is this?'', I asked looking at the mysterious man.

''Camouflage, the scout's armor'' he said.

He and his men began to take off their armor leaving only their underwear and the masks they wear.

'This man's body is full of scars, there is no part where he doesn't have one, it seems he has suffered quite a few wounds doing this, he must have a lot of experience'

They were completely covered with those leafy robes until they looked like walking bushes.

Lyn and I tried to do the same

'I don't know how they did it, but their camouflage was perfect, if they stood still someone could easily mistake them for a bush, but Lyn and I were much more obvious.'

The last thing they did was to take off their boots and start walking barefoot, they took their bows and started to go into the forest.

We started to follow them all the way

'They were walking weird, very slow, but why? no danger... wait, they don't make noise, they don't make any noise when they walk'.

The way they walk through the forest, it was as if they had known it all their lives, but every step they took did not produce even the slightest noise, you could only hear the steps of Lyn and me and the sounds of birds and the wind but nothing of them.

When I saw this I also took off my boots trying to imitate them, but no matter how hard I tried to do the same as them, I could not, it was extremely difficult and especially because of the stones and branches that get stuck in your feet and it was extremely painful.

But they didn't care, I could see how the branches were sticking into their feet, but their eyes were totally concentrated on searching for enemies.

After almost twisting my ankles imitating their way of walking, I simply followed them barefoot, as I had left my boots far behind already

''Surprising isn't it?'', I said whispering to Lyn.

''Yes, really, I'm thankful that these are on our side, can you imagine if they get into our camp at night and start slitting our throats'' said Lyn with a slight tone of fear watching them walking

As we looked around us the Finn raised his hand and they all slowly started to lie down on the ground.

''Brynden down now'' the Finn said whispering

I followed his instructions immediately and lay down on the floor.

For the moment we hadn't seen or heard anything, but we stopped anyway

But after a few seconds we saw a stag passing by while it was trying to eat some grass.

We were watching the animal for several minutes until suddenly an arrow stuck in the animal's chest killing it instantly, the arrow must have hit it in the heart.

''What a good shot, my friend, a clean kill, the captain will be happy'' said a hunter, wearing the Tarly heraldry.

''We are going to eat very well today, I love it when we can keep some of the prey'' said another hunter wearing the Tarly heraldry.

We watched as they approached the stag and began to tie it up and take it away.

At that moment, we saw the Finn and another of his men slowly rise and draw their bows.

The archers of House Tarly were too intent on preparing their prize and returning to their camp that they did not notice that some bushes around them began to move very slowly, the eyes of the Finns were fixed on their unnoticed victims.

They released their bows and in the blink of an eye both hunters had an arrow in their thighs.

All the Finns got up like lightning and started running towards the Tarly hunters, who started screaming in pain.

''aahhh...but what...ahhh shit''screamed one of the hunters while clutching his leg.

''Ahh...by the seven..the bushes, the bushes are moving''said the other Tarly hunter pointing in our direction.

The Tarly hunters seeing the bushes moving towards them tried with all their might to get up and run, but with one leg pinned down they were easy prey for their Finnish hunters who caught up to them in a matter of seconds

''Get away demons, get away mmhmhmhmhmhmh'' said one of the hunters as the Finns gagged him.

The other hunter was paralyzed with fear before our presence, he was the easiest to gag, since he didn't even put the slightest resistance to our attempts to tie him up.

''What are we going to do with them'' asked Lyn.

''Didn't you hear, a captain of the Tarly guard is around here, if we manage to capture him we could use his armor and clothes to enter the castle without much trouble or climb the walls and use the armor inside the castle to give orders and disorganize the guards on the walls'' said one of the Finnish soldiers.

''Don't expect much from them, they are rookies'' said another soldier to his companion in his language.

The Finns quickly tied them up and began to talk to their prisoners.

''We are going to remove your gags if you scream I will beat the last of your teeth out of you, understand?'', said a soldier showing his fist to the hunters.

The Finns took off their gags and began to ask questions.

''Where is your camp?'', asked a soldier.

''I don't know,'' replied the hunter.

''Your captain is in the camp'', the soldier asked another question.

''I don't know'' the hunter replied again

''If you don't cooperate you are going to have a very bad time my friend, so help me help you and talk or you will regret it'' said the soldier.

The hunter's response was to spit in his face.

'I don't know if your loyalty to your lord is admirable or your stupidity is greater'.

the soldier was about to punch him, but his commander spoke to him

''Forget about physical torture, we will waste a lot of time breaking them without specialized tools and if they scream a lot we can draw the attention of their comrades'' said the Finn.

''What did he say?'', Lyn asked me, whispering.

''I don't know Lyn I don't speak their language'' I replied looking at Lyn with a raised eyebrow.

''Then what do we do'' replied the soldier.

The Finn took a leather flask that belonged to one of the hunters

''I have an idea, how to make them tell us everything'' said the Finn in a tone so ominous that it made me shiver

The hunter who was being interrogated in the face of the constant refusals to collaborate covered his face with a piece of cloth, and the Finn began to pour the water over the hunter who was lying on his back.

In a matter of seconds the piece of cloth was soaked, and the hunter began to convulse trying to remove the piece of cloth, but as he was completely tied up he could not do anything and the Finns left him there for several seconds while I heard noises of how he began to drown and the hunter was struggling to remove the piece of cloth from his face.

When they saw the hunter was struggling with all his energy to remove the cloth they removed it.

The hunter took a deep breath through his mouth and began to cough uncontrollably.

The bath helped you come to your senses'', said the Finnish man.

The hunter just looked at him and kept coughing.

''Well, it looks like he needs another bath, again'' said the Finn, but in our language

''No, *cof*, *cof*, *cof*, no, please, no *cof*'' said the hunter pleadingly

''then cooperate or we'll give you a long bath'' said the Finn with a cold tone.

the hunter nodded many times

''Where is your camp?'', asked the Finn.

''Eight kilometers to the east...*cof*...we mark the trees to know how to get back'' said the hunter.

''How many are there?'', he asked again.

''Thirteen'', said the hunter.

''And your captain is in the camp?'', the commander of the Finns continued to ask.

''Yes, we have to hunt 5 male stags to control the population as soon as we do that, we will return to horn hill'' said the hunter

''Well it looks like we got what we wanted, but bathe him some more to see if he keeps the story'' said the Finn to his soldiers.

They again turned him upside down and put the rag over him.

''Wait, no, no, I told you everything, please don't'' said the hunter as they started pouring water on him again

''Hey he already talked, you don't have to do it again'' I said looking at the Finn.

''That's where you're wrong, we have to verify if he can keep the story for long torture sessions, if he starts changing details, he lied to us, that's what I would do if I got caught, tell lies covered with a truth, to make them trust me'' said the Finn without looking at me.

For a few minutes, the Finns were torturing the hunters and asking him questions again until they were satisfied with what they had been told.

'Poor men were almost broken by this kind of torture and they didn't even beat them in the slightest.'
