Chapter Ten- All For Love

I got to Rose’s house very late in the evening. Immediately she saw me, she rushed and hugged me. “ Hey Cynthia, what can I ever do without you? Please come in and make yourself comfortable. Cynthia said and started dragging me into a room I guessed was hers. “What are friends for? I can do anything for you dear” I responded and sat down on a chair in a small but well-organized room with a lovely-looking bed in the middle.

“ How are you doing Rose? How is your mum?” Rose sat down near me and looked worried as she tried to answer my questions.” I'm very well. My mum is dying Cynthia. The doctors are insisting that they can't give her any form of medication without settling the bill. I don't have a choice here. We need to see the man as soon as possible” Rose said and took my hands “Please don't discourage me. I know how you feel about this but I have to do this” I held her and let her cry on my shoulders.
