Rabbit Legs

As the principal said, they didn't have to attend their normal class until they participated in that big competition. The students who went back would still have to continue their studies like usual while others had special training to fight as a team. Each team had their own teacher. Like that, Thomas's team had their teacher, Anderson.

"Why is it that suddenly the world magic academy changed everything?"

Sheli asked while they were on the way to the classroom they had got.

For each group, the principal had prepared classrooms to continue their lessons. So they were on the way to the room they had got. But Sheli couldn't hold her curiosity.

"All of a sudden, the charge of all the academies was taken under the world magic academy. As soon as they got it, this is what they planned. I guess that they are collecting talented students for their academy. That's why they planned this to find out those hidden talents."

As Anderson answered her, he opened the door of the room they got. It didn't look much different from their normal classrooms. But smaller than the main hall, and larger than regular classrooms.

"Well then. We should start our work today. You heard what the principal said, right? This is about teamwork. But first of all, you have a lot more to learn than others. It's not about the things you need to learn but about your body. You need to make your body do everything faster. So for the first few days, we should improve each one of you separately. Then we could try team works."

Anderson said thoughtfully.

"Okay, now transform everyone."

As he said, everyone transformed quickly. But Anderson was not satisfied.

"It is not fast enough. Well...After this training, we can raise the speed anyway."

"Sheli, you transform really fast. That's a development. You are doing well. Next, we should pay attention to your special hidden feature. It will be very useful when you need it."

When Anderson praised her, Sheli was over the moon. She gifted him a smile and said she will work hard in the future as well.

After Anderson finished talking to Nick, he turned to Thomas and sighed.

He said and handed over that timing ball.

Then he turned to Sheli who was standing at the spot staring at Anderson waiting for a command.

"Sheli, sit down and focus on your form. Try to release those features that didn't appear. Once you succeed, we can move to the next step."

Finally, it was Thomas.

"You come here."

Anderson called Thomas over there. 

"I heard from my grandma that some dancing fairies couldn't awaken their special abilities without awakening the wings. They are very important. So like Sheli, sit down and focus on your form and try to release everything you have been stuffing inside."

As he said he let them do their work and observed if everyone was doing okay. 

Everything was very calm until Sheli suddenly started screaming.

"Aaaaahh!"

Anderson quickly ran to her panicking if something was wrong. But only to see she was screaming because she was shocked by the legs, which replaced her human legs.

Well, she didn't want to lie.

"It's ugly!"

The white rabbit lambs didn't look good on her. But as long as it was helpful, she made up her mind to accept them.

"What nonsense are you spouting? They are very useful. Appearance doesn't matter."

Anderson hit her and said and he observed her legs. Hearing her screaming, everyone had already run there. All of them were fascinated by her legs, forgetting how many things they had to do.

"Try to get up!"

Anderson held her hand while she tried to get up.

"I don't feel any difference. It feels like I am still standing with my human legs."

After she confirmed it was okay, Anderson let go of her hand.

"Then take a step."

Sheli slowly stepped once. She felt nothing. It was still the same.

"Now run!"

In a blinking moment, she suddenly disappeared. Others only felt a wind hit their bodies. When they opened their eyes again, she had disappeared.

"Wow! So cool!"

They heard her screaming happily and they looked at the way her voice came. They were surprised and most especially Kevin. His mouth dropped as he saw Sheli in the other corner of the class. They didn't even notice her going there.

'Just how fast was she?'

"Impressive! Come back here!"

Anderson called Sheli back to where they were. Again, she suddenly appeared there with a strong wave of wind.

"Can you transform them back into normal? Only those legs."

While they were watching, her rabbit legs disappeared and her smooth human legs appeared.

"You are really good at controlling. Very good."

Anderson praised her again while others felt envy in their hearts.

All of them quickly went back to their work, so they could also get praise from Anderson.

"Now transform completely into your human form."

Aderson and Sheli continued.

She transformed back to her original form.

"Now transform without legs."

She did as he said.

"Transform your legs too."

She again got the rabbit legs. With white fur, it would look good on a real rabbit.

But on Sheli, it looked really strange.

"Good! Now let's move to the next step. Find your special powers!"
