I looked at it in a daze however I quickly shook out of it.

"What's with the question marks?" I looked at it in confusion however I didn't want to question it. I ate a little granola bar and put on my tracksuit.

"Might as well get this done"

However, I immediately paused "How the hell am so…calm"

I went back one month which was an extraordinary feat and I also just accepted this system without any question.

With a sigh, I went over what happened before I woke up.

I was in some sort of ruin and…and.

My eyes shot open "Why can't I remember?" no matter how hard I tried but I couldn't remember a thing. The only thing that ran through my mind was one word.

"Legacy?" I tried to think "I guess it's just a way of inheriting something? But what?"

With a sigh, I decided to think about this later and do the daily task. While I didn't really have much faith my appearance one month earlier and the vivid memories didn't go away, giving me some reason.

*CLICK*

When I exited the apartment I heard my next-door neighbour also exit. I looked to see a black-haired girl with grey eyes exiting her apartment. She was extremely beautiful.

We made eye contact and I smiled and greeted her "Morning". She also nodded.

With that, she turned around and walked toward the elevator. I followed and we both went to the lobby. I started my run which took me a while.

Looking at the status screen I looked at the mana circle.

"Hm"

I was awakened. Everyone awakens their mana at 14 and you get your crest at 16.

With a sigh, I sat on my bed and tried manipulating my mana. I created a pure white substance and tried to manipulate it, However, I failed, it is hard. My mana control is still pretty shit.

I kept trying to shape it and finally, I could do it.

Suddenly a golden key fell into my hands. Looking at the gold key a few ideas popped into my mind.

[Allows the player to enter a dungeon created by the system. While the dungeon will not drop or give rewards unless defeating the boss monster you will be able to get XP. You may only leave once the boss had died or if you have a return stone]

Reading the description I couldn't help but sigh. When I read the first part I thought I could leave the dungeon at will. Meaning I could kill monsters every day and level up until the end of the month. You see by the end of the month I was planning on taking a scholarship program.

While it's called a program it's really just a tournament to show off a person's skills. The first rank would get a full-ride scholarship into the best academy, Veridia Sanctum Academy.

Veridia Sanctum Academy is a prestigious institution that stands as a beacon of knowledge, innovation, and combat. The reason I want to go there is because of the number of resources I can get to level up. If I also get the top spot I can get a free access pass to the wild lands.

The "Wild Lands" is a place filled with monsters. While the government is trying to expand to it they still don't know how many monsters there are or their rank.

"Well it would be better than my last academy" Thinking about my last academy I couldn't help but let out a sigh and started to reminisce.

"Alright this is your dorm," a man with an emotionless face said before walking away.

Looking at the room my mouth twitched. It was smaller than my apartment. It only fit a bed a table and a small dirty washroom. The bed was also hard. However, I laid on it.

"At least I got into an academy"

Normally people who awaken and have no crest have to do physical labor or do extremely dangerous jobs to get by. However, if I was able to attend an academy I'd probably be able to get into a guild.

Guilds are organizations that pay you to do some jobs much like a company. Actually, they are basically companies. The more powerful people in the guild the more powerful the guild.

So what would a weak individual be? Just some canon fodder.

However, if a crestless person were to go to an academy but was able to survive they may be hired as teachers. Of course, the pay isn't excellent but is pretty good. Well, it is enough to live a normal life.

"Sqwek!"

"SHIT!" I looked at the rat who startled me "fuck I need to clean this room…"

I looked around with a bitter smile "fuck my life"

Currently, I was looking around the cave with the monsters looking at me.

Now to understand how I got into this situation I will have to explain how my academy life was going.

In simple terms it was terrible.

Every day I would be picked on and if I fought back I would be punished. Like the fuck did I do!? They picked the fight!?

So eventually I was forced to join a raiding party. Around halfway in those bastards fucking ditched me!

"Damn"

I then started to run away. At the same time, I could hear the monsters behind me. However, I could only go deeper into the dungeon. This is due to the many monsters blocking the area.

Ducking under the claws I slashed my sword and I cut one of the monsters.

"Dammit!"

Swinging my sword upward I cut one in half. After who knows how long I was surrounded by a bunch of corpses. However, there was a problem.

Looking around there were more monsters approaching and they were obviously stronger and more in number.

From that, I was injured and was cut in 2.

Recalling the events was unpleasant but it did help me. That being said I had an idea that if I went back there I way find answers.

But first I would need to get strong and get skills or at least boost my stats.

Looking at the key in my hands I decided to go in a week's time.

If I complete the dungeon I'll enter the tournament to get into Veridia Sanctum Academy or V.S.A.

"Well let's get started"

"Damn I look good," I said while looking at myself in the mirror.

It seemed that my hard work paid off. My once skinny frail body had some flesh on it and I also had a six-pack! A SIX PACK!

Some of my clothes also got a little too small but I was able to buy some new ones. However, my admiring was cut short as a message appeared in front of me.

[Item [Random Item Box] has been received!]

Opening my palm a black box appeared in my hand.

This was something that I had got in my second daily quest and onward. I got a lot of useless things like a pair of sunglasses but some good ones as well. For example, I got 2 dungeon keys and a [Potion Of Recovery].

Putting on a shirt I went to the living room and crushed the box. A bright glow happened causing me to close my eyes. When I opened them again a sword was in my hand.

"At least I have a weapon" I muttered putting it in my inventory.

Considering I didn't really have a weapon I was going to use a kitchen knife. I couldn't just purchase a weapon as I would need an academy ID or need to be 18.

With a sigh, I got up and left my apartment.

Closing my door I noticed my neighbour also coming out. This is our second meeting. She seemed confused as she looked at me up and down.

"Morning," I said "Y-yes?"

Walking toward the elevator I pressed the button for the lobby. I also noticed that she kept stealing glances at me.

'I should check my skills shouldn't I?'

I just realized that I hadn't checked my skills or titles yet. This was largely due to my focusing on the daily quests and signing up for the tournament.

I nodded to myself a good start. Leaving the elevator I brought out the key which caused slight holographic lines to appear. Following them I made it to an alleyway.

A small keyhole could be seen.

Surprisingly the key fit and when I turned it a door appeared in front of me.
