54 Merlin!~

Everyone looked on as Saber stepped into the vault. It was not quite what they were expecting. Sure there were mountains of gold in the corners…..but other than that there was only a small pillar sticking out of the ground with a red button on it that said 'push me'.

Ichigo's group got a bit closer and inspected the button along with her.

"I sense a certain wizard marshall's work here….." Ichigo said in hesitation.

Saber sighed, she prepared herself for the worst and pressed the button.

At the sound of a very cartoony trumpet and a puff of smoke, a figure appeared infront of the group.

Only saber would recognize the man that had appeared. Ichigo's group along with everyone watching were confused at who this person was. He had an odd looking staff and white long hair but young features. His robes were a bit gaudy with all the colors on them, and some of his features indicated non-human ancestry.

"Ta Da!" The man exclaimed with a wide grin on his face.

At everyones surprise, Saber dropped Excalibur. She was shaking at the presence of the man.

As he was about to speak, Saber charge at him and punch him in the face.

"MERLIN YOU BASTARD" She roared as she continued to beat up the poor wizard.

"Please…..i'm sorry….." The man squeaked out between being punched and kicked.

The goblins and Wizards present were gaping at the scene before them. The King proclaimed the man she was pommeling as Merlin, THAT Merlin.

Ichigo's group was a bit stunned, the recognized the man as Merlin, and he seemed to recognize her too. That would mean its HER Merlin.

"Zelretch….." The all thought.

The beating continued for several minutes, a pained wizard's cries echoed out into the bank for all to hear.

"Um...saber…" Shirou meekly said.

She turned around to glare at her lover.

Merlin saw his chance and escaped to behind Ichigo's group.

"Let me explain!" He shouted in fear.

"You have ten seconds to explain" Saber stated.

The ticking of a clock was heard as silence permeated the bank. As his time was almost up, he finally spoke.

"IT WASN'T MY FAULT" He whined.

Saber picked up her Excalibur and walked towards the Wizard.

"Vivian trapped me in Avalon, I couldn't get out" He cried as she drew closer with her blade.

"WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE GROPED THE LADY OF THE LAKE THEN" Saber yelled at her former teacher.

At this point, several people that were watching the spectacle fainted due to the shock.

After beating him with the flat of her blade for several more minutes, to which Excalibur was more than happy to lend a hand in, she finally calmed down a bit to talk to the wizard.

"Why are you here Merlin?" She said bluntly.

"Am I not allowed to see you after all these years?" He said with a gentle smile.

Saber didn't speak as tears fell from her eyes, she hugged the man she considered a father figure.

Merlin took a good look at her new companions as he hugged the girl.

"I'm glad you found a new home" He said quietly to her.

Saber calmed her emotions as she let go of the wizard.

"I don't have much time, this is very strong magic that is letting me be here right now and its running out." Merlin said as he walked around and waved to various people in the bank, causing some to collapse out of excitement.

He walked up to Mcgonagall and went to one knee and he grabbed her hand. The professor was flustered at his action.

"Miss, would you please bare my chi...…" He was interrupted by a haki-infused slap to the back of the head.

"Focus you pervert" Saber said.

"Ah, yes yes. I brought a present for you." He said with a smile.

Mcgonagall had a blush on her face as she was muttering incoherently.

"When you left the throne of heroes, you only took Excalibur with you." He said.

"I thought you would get some use out of your other weapon." He finished.

He held his palm out, facing towards the sky. A bright light was shining and started to take form.

Saber recognized the object that appeared immediately.

"Rhongomyniad, The lance that shines to the ends of the world" Merlin declared to all present.

The power that radiated off the spear was heavy, the goblins that were watching started to shake at such a weapon. This was a divine construct the likes this world has never experienced before.

The spear disappeared into motes of light and flew into Saber. It was stored away similarly to how Excalibur was.

Moments later, Merlin's figure started to dissipate. The magic had apparently run out. He smiled towards the girl one last time then looked towards Shirou.

"Thank you for taking care of her" He said with a gentle expression.

It took time for everyone to recover from what they had just witnessed. Several Wizards ran out of the bank to report what had just happened. The goblins were in awe at the legendary Wizard Merlin appearing in the vault, and laying eyes on the spear.

Saber helped herself to a few mountains of gold as she put it all into her bottomless bag.

When the goblins finally recovered, Saber stated that they had other business as well. Ichigo's blood was tested to verify he was 'harry potter' which registered as positive. He was allowed access to the potters vault where he also helped himself to piles of gold.

As they made their way up from the normal vaults and back into the main office, the head goblin spoke again.

"Is there anything else your majesty?" Frankly, the goblin was a bit exhausted after today. He had experience so much in so little time.

"One more issue, there is apparently a marriage contract that was created without Ichigo's consent in his name." Saber said.

The goblin had a sneer on his face as the contract was mentioned. The idea of forced contracts was ridiculous in his opinion, but it was Wizard law so they had to comply with them.

"I do not care about it's contents in regards to Ichigo, but a young lady will suffer because of it." She explained.

"Can we please see the contract?" She finished.

It wasn't against the rules for anyone to look at the contract, heck, there wasn't even a rule against destroying it. It was merely assumed that it could not be destroyed, if it was ripped it would eventually reform, if it was burned it was appear sometime later, perfectly intact.

The goblin went into the back and retrieved the contract, he set it on a table for the group to see.

"Shirou, if you would be so kind" She said towards her lover.

The goblin had found about the relationship between his king and the young magus. He did not like humans, but he made an exception for him and this other group. Plus, he could feel the light of Avalon inside the boy, he was clearly accepted by the sheath and be extension the fae as a whole.

"Trace on" He said. To the goblins amazement an odd looking dagger appeared.

The goblins could sense a strong power in the blade.

"What is that?' The head goblin asked.

"Rule Breaker, the weapon of the Witch of Betrayal; Medea. It can nullify any magic or contracts." He stated smugly.

Mcgonagall and the goblins stares at the blade in awe. Another legendary weapon with extraordinary abilities was pulled out like it was nothing.

Shirou stabbed the dagger into the contract, the magic around the parchment was eviscerated with ease.

"Could you please dispose of this, and make sure that no other contracts can be levied against me or my companions?" Saber asked towards the goblin.

"Your will be done." The goblin said with a bow as he went to work to finish her request.

"I believe we are done here." Jaina said to Mcgonagall.

Mcgonagall was still speechless as she left the building.

"This was a fun outing, we need to do this again sometime" Jaina stated to the group.

The group decided to muck around a bit before returning. They found a nice little tavern for a drink and some dinner.

Mcgonagall didn't argue, she needed a drink.

They groud had some fun trying out various Wizard drinks. These were very weird, in a good way.

There was one that made them giggle when they took a swig. There was Butterbeer, which saber absolutely loved. She bought several barrels of it and stored them in her bag. They had to force Mcgonagall to leave, she had drinken a bit too much….

It took a bit longer than expected to find their way back to Hogwarts. It was later in the night at this point, they expected most people to be up in their common rooms but were surprised to find that the Castle was still very active.

Once again, there was a newspaper in the hands of everyone present. It was a VERY special edition done by the prophet.

"The Return of the King" Was the headline on the front page.

It was the picture of saber, she was holding her Excalibur high. The goblins went on record saying that the Goblin empire stood behind the king, along with any fae races. Another piece of news that shocked the world, Merlin. The Wizards present had presented their memories to the prophet so they could print pictures of the worshiped wizard.

He was not what the world expected. The whole encounter was written about in the paper, from Merlin getting beat up by Saber, to him reportedly being very lecherous. Then there was a rather large picture of him presenting the spear to Saber.

There was even a small section about him hitting on Professor Mcgonagall.

The ministry had yet to make an official statement, some speculated that they were planning something.

As Ichigo's group walked through the castle, everyone was whispering at their presence.

"King Arthur…." Some said. In awe.

"Your Majesty…." Some others said.

It seemed like the students were a bit scared to approach the group now at all the new revelations. Rukia being a Shinigami, Saber being King Arthur. It appeared as though people completely forgot about Shirou and 'the boy who lived'.

Event the guests from the other schools were being wary of the Japan group. Though many people had questions….it was hard to approach the group with knowing their identities.

Ichigo's group didn't bother with the kids and went to bed early. There were rumors going around that the couples were sleeping together.

Mcgonagall arrived at the headmasters office where the other teachers were convened.

She was a bit tipsy still but she was trying her hardest to stay focused.

Dumbledore had a nifty little device in his office, a person could willingly pull out a memory and insert it into this "chalice" and it would play the memory like a video.

The teachers took turns watching the events play out.

Silence consumed the room.

"I did not expect Merlin to be….that." Flitwick.

"I wonder how the purebloods are going to act when they find out that Merlin wasn't entirely human" He added.

It was obvious by the mans features that he wasn't all human from even the pictures that the prophet ran.

Snape didn't speak, he was the pureblood representation at the school and even he didn't know what the fallout would be after this revelation.

"I do believe it has been confirmed that the young lady is indeed King Arthur" Mcgonagall stated.

"How did Japan get a hold of her though?" Snape asked.

"That is a very good question and I assume the Ministry is going to inquire about that themselves" Flitwick said.

"I fear the Ministry is going to do something very stupid soon" Dumbledore sighed.

He was more concerned about the boy, 'Harry potter'. Sure he was excited about all this just like everyone else, but he was the 'leader' of the light. The prophecy dictated that Harry potter needed to be the one to destroy the dark lord and he didn't even know how to grab the boy at this point. He was powerful, his companions were powerful and influential, he couldn't very well assert his dominance over the boy like he had hoped. This was quickly spiraling out of his control.
