1 The end is a beginning

(*hey guys author here from the future this chapter and the next three aren't that good so I apologize for that I've tried fixing some issues in this, but in future chaps, it gets better and longer so I would appreciate it if you don't drop this series )

..... bringing... bringing.. bringing, a young teen who was quietly sleeping abruptly woke up Ryo who had just woken up took his alarm clock and threw it at his door

" I can't be late for the first day of school!!" he yelled

Ryo jumped up from his bed and ran straight to the bathroom to change, he didn't bother eating or tying his shoes he left his house not saying goodbye to anyone since he didn't have anyone to say goodbye to, Ryo's parents died when he was just three and now at only 15 he had left his guardian's place to live by himself Luckily they allowed him to do so since initially they adopted him because they weren't able to have kids but 3 months ago they found out they had a baby on the way they were so obsessed with the new baby to the point of not caring about what he did they even gave him a small allowance to pay for the cheap apartment he currently resided in

Ryo ran outside and took his bike old but reliable bike, and began riding it

He checked the time on his watch; it was currently 8:45 AM, and he had to be in school by 8:50. It would usually take him 30 minutes to get there, but he took a shortcut through the city's main road, which was filled with traffic.

" seems like I'm going to make it," he said to himself

As he pedaled even faster. After a few minutes, he reached the stoplight near his school. He tried stopping his bike, only to realize his shoelace got stuck on the chain, and he wasn't able to break it.

to make it worse, he saw a truck on its way coming crashing into him,

Ryo thought to himself 'no I can't die yet, I haven't even done anything in this life to be proud of, I'm too young to die' but sadly the truck didn't think the same it crashed into Ryo while he closed his eyes

"oh well, at least ill see my parents again".

....'hmm that's weird seems like I'm dead ...It's pretty dark in the afterlife, I can't see a thing..Wait a minute' Ryo opened his eyes after realizing his eyes were closed the whole time

"uh...I'm alive, wait where am I..what is this place?"

Ryo looked at his surroundings which was a grassy plain that seemed never-ending, but suddenly a humanoid shape appeared from afar, as it got closer Ryo saw that it was a weirdly shaped creature that resembled a fish cloaked in a golden robe, with golden watches all over its diamond-like body, Ryo was confused, so he asked

"am I in heaven, are you God?"

The figure answered, "no this is not heaven nor am I a god ..." Ryo was still confused, "then what are you",

it spoke once again, "I am you, and you are me"

Ryo, who was still confused, couldn't help but ask, " can you please tell me what is this place and what it all means ",

"This place is your inner world. I don't know what it all means since I am you, but you are not dead but nor are you alive, you are a soul"

Ryo was still confused, but he thought to himself 'wait this all seems familiar... what if I'm reborn since this isn't heaven, am I in a different world, or is this something else' Ryo tried asking the fish creature something else

"can I leave this place?"

the creature said

"if you wish so, then you can"

Ryo was about to wish to go but before he did, he spoke once more to the creature

"my name is Ryo. what's yours"

the creature answered "you don't have the strength to handle knowing my name but once you do, come back here and ill tell you my real name, but for now, you can call me za," (no guys it won't be za wurdo)

Ryo responded "see you later than za" he then wished to leave, he closed his eyes, tightly and waited for a long time to open his eyes despite feeling a rocky surface under him and the wind blowing against his skin, finally Ryo opened his eyes shocked to see...TO BE CONTINUED
