[New World Arc] Part 4: Awakening?

I had an immense urge to call someone from that house, already coming up with several excuses like some random symptom of a cold, but if there really was a possibility that it wasn't a dream, just the fact that I was close to that clinic would mean that I was at risk of possible attacks. So at least for now I decided to ignore her and control my nervousness.

I knew more or less which direction the school was since I played a lot of RPG's and always looked at Karakura's map, but the real intention was to take a bus to get there faster.

After walking for a while, I saw a bus that was about to leave and remembering the scene from the Spider-Man movie, I ran after it.

Yato: "Wait! Wait a minute!"

Lucky for me the bus stopped and it was empty. What took me a while to notice was that the red cat had accompanied me to the bus.

Yato: "Why did you come along?" - I asked trying to stay calm. I didn't expect the cat to run after me.

"Meow!"

Yato: "Never mind, just behave and I'll try to solve it when we get there"

The most amazing thing was that the cat actually obeyed me and jumped to one of the seats and sat looking at the window. After seeing this, I went to talk to the driver who looked to be about 30 years old.

"Excuse me, is this bus going to Karakura High School?"

Driver: "Yes it does, kid. It takes about 20 or 30 minutes depending on traffic." - Answered the driver in a deep voice but at the same time relaxed.

I thanked him and went to the seat next to the red cat. During the drive I took one more look at my cell phone and saw that it was already 7:25 a.m. Which made me sigh.

Yato: "If I'm dreaming, I'll show up at school out of nowhere or I'll wake up before I arrive." - I spoke to no one in particular, but it seems that the cat thought I was talking to him, as he responded with a meow, which made me laugh a little. Despite everything, one thing crossed my mind

Yato: 'Anyway, it's very frustrating that even in my dreams I'm late for things.'

Suddenly the red cat jumped on my shoulder and for some reason I started to feel very tired, like I hadn't slept in days.

Ironically, the last thing I thought of before falling asleep was

Yato: 'Maybe it was time to wake up from this crazy dream.'
