535 Chapter 535 : Fight On The Second Pillar!!!

Feeling that Soi Fon won every one, especially the Captains felt somewhat bitter that they didn't manage to end this sooner than possible...

On the second Pillar, a chain like a sword extended trying to hit the Arrancar that was using Sonido and appearing in blind spots of the said Shinigami...

The owner of the sword which was Abarai Renji had an almost angry face from the Arrancar in front of him trying to sneak attack him all the time...

Since he was going to play like this, Rengi didn't mind following and started using Shunpo although he wasn't that good with it same with the Kido Arts...

They kept trying to pass the other and Renji finally found his chance as he howled with his sword...

Renji: "Howl!!! Zabimaru!!!"

Just as his blade extended forward to hit his opponent... Shawlong Koufang used this gap to appear right beside Renji and tried to stab him with his sword thinking that he won...

However that that moment Renji's hand glowed with yellow energy like...

Renji: "Bakudo Arts N. 4 : Hainawa!!! Crawling Rope"

Generating a crackling yellow energy rope within his hand, Renji threw it towards his opponent as the energy winds up around Koufangs's arms and body, immobilizing him just enough so that Renji could spin around and slashed at his chest drawing the first blood...

Koufang: "Aaaarargg!!!!"

Ripping apart the yellow rope that had bind him with his slash, Renji followed up with another slash as his blade curved around somewhat like a snake and hit him twice...

Renji didn't finish there as he back away and drew his sword with his hand causing the extending blade to retract as the sharp sections started cutting Koufang slowly and painfully...

Koufang who had let his guard down and got so many wounds on his body crashed down on the fake streets of the town as Renji was looking at him...

Byakuya: "Be on your guard although you managed to hit him thrice now, it won't be certain it will work later on..."

Renji: "I know..."

Just as he finished speaking a yellow reiatsu pillar got raised from where he had fallen along with a voice...

Koufang: "Awake and Snip!! Tijereta - Five-Pincered Insect"

Shawlong's Zanpakuto as he fought with Renji looked like a standard katana with a guard shaped like to oval with a gap going down the middle and hollow corners.

When he called his command for being released, Shawlong grew armour that covered his arms and upper chest, while his hands transformed into long claws and his mask extends down to cover the left side of his face, while the part of his mask fragment, extending out to his right, becomes a claw-tipped tail.

Also, his original mask fragment extended downward to form a sort of half-helmet, and the side protrusion becomes mounted on the back of his head.

Without wasting time Kouufang appeared right beside Renji as his speed had increased by at least almost double than before and slashed with his two claws but not before Renji placed his sword in front of him to block...

What happened next shocked Renji to his core while Byakuya simply narrowed slightly his eyes...

The claws of Koufang passed easily through the shikai of Renji causing it to become pieces, just as he was about to get hit he used shunpo and vanished leaving behind only shred pieces of his Shihakusho attire...

Koufang: "Hahahaha, this is my victory... Now your power is broken..."

Renji: "Broken?? If that's how you think we fight then go ahead and try..."

Koufang: "Gladly!!!"

Szvooom!!! Clang!!! Szvooom!!! Clang!!! Szvooom!!! Clang!!!

Both of them started clashing with each other, and Renji only ended up with half his shikai form which slowly was reduced to his hilt...

For some reason, Koufang felt something was off because he could see that his Shikai parts didn't revert back to a normal blade but kept falling like that...

His guesses turned into reality when Renji flared up with his reiatsu and all blades glowed with a red colour...
