Fire is always the answer

With his sword already in its released state, the heat released by his swords was enough to dilate the air all around, the Shinigami present, incapable of resisting the heat and fire, had no choice but to retreat several meters.

Even the captains around had it bad, Ichigo and others however were protected by Shin's spiritual powers, so they had it better.

Yamamoto took Shin's action as proof of hostility thus he moved, using Shunpo he appeared before Shin before swinging his sword, seeing the fire of the sword threatening to incinerate him into nothingness, Shin smiled in anticipation.

Calling upon his own Shikai, the cube materialized, and its form changed, becoming a Japanese katana which he used to intercept Yamamoto's blazing sword, dispersing the fire at the same time.

Spark flew in the air as the said air was also distorted and dilated by the heat.

'Gotcha' Shin thought, he already completed one of his objectives right now thus he spoke.

"From my knowledge, it was an arm that you lost not an eye. Look more closely."

Yamamoto felt annoyed, but he retreated as he shot a quick glance toward Zaraki, to his surprise however the man was fine. In fact, he was more healthy than he was just seconds ago.

The bandage covering his injury has been ripped apart by Crazy Diamonds, as his prior wound seemingly disappeared.

"Though I wouldn't mind fighting you, I advise you to put away your Zanpakuto." Shin spoke, for some reason, his voice seemed more joyful.

"What have you done?" The old man asked as the intensity of the fire diminished.

"Isn't it obvious enough? I healed him of course." Perhaps he was really turning blind?

This time after a bit of silence, the fire totally disappeared.

"Since things have already escalated that much, I will cease beating around the bush. Here is what we are going to do. I will be healing, no healing is not the correct term. I will be restoring them back to their condition prior to Aizen's attack, while also restoring any damaged property if there is any. And in exchange, you will act as if nothing happened." Since he already got what he wanted from Yamamoto, there was no need to keep his act, so he ended up stating his business... at last.

Silence, seeing what happened to Kenpachi, they now had proof that he could do what he just say but still, taking such a decision was not easy. Because if they accepted, that would mean they would have to renounce apprehending Aizen.

Which to be honest wouldn't be an easy feat even if the young man named Shin were to not interfere. So overall this didn't seem like a bad deal at all. At least that's what Shinsui thought.

Still, the decision was not his to take but the old man, he just wanted his people back on their two feet.

Yamamoto became silent as he thought about it for a moment. Was apprehending Aizen more important than the life of his people? Even more considering that they would also have to fight against the monster before him if they wished to get to Aizen.

Although his spiritual power was already proof of his strength, the fact that he was able to easily tank his Shikai added some more weight to his presence.

He looked at the 6 captains present one after the other. Knowing them for so long, it was enough for him to understand their feelings on this matter. Thus with a sigh, he said. "Accepted." as he returned his sword inside its sheath.

"Don't resist" Shin said as Crazy Diamonds went into action. Followed many series of punches directed at the remaining injured 5 captains and Yamamoto himself.

They felt a foreign spiritual power invade their body. The thought of resisting the energy passed through their body but they quickly dismissed it after hearing Shin's next sentence. "If you do, I won't give you a second chance."

"Though I doubt aside Yamamoto, any of could resist it even if you wanted." He quickly added after.

Though annoyed, they didn't try to resist the foreign energy.

After getting Crazy Diamonds, Shin discovered many things, one of such is that the stand being the physical manifestation of the Soul worked similarly to Zanpakuto. Thus Its power was based on the spiritual capability of its user. The more spiritual power he had, the stronger Crazy Diamond became. As a result, even its ability was reinforced, currently, Crazy Diamond could much more than simply "restore" something to a previous state. No to be more precise, it still "restored" things, but now it was on a completely different scale and potency. But that was his trump card, one he wasn't willing to reveal... yet.

Seconds after, they all recovered, and their wounds disappeared even Yamamoto's missing arm "regenerated".

"Now shall we take care of the others as well?"

...

Following that, the different Shinigami were dismissed by Yamamoto. Shin followed by the others went into the 4th division barrack, where the different captains were currently hospitalized.

Shin, along with the kind Orihime, proceeded to restore everyone to full health, one after the other they all recuperated. Shin also didn't miss the occasional glance Unohana was giving him.

He didn't know why but she seemed interested in his stand ability for some reason. It was too bad that she was not his type or he would have taken advantage of this fact to possibly get closer to her.

After all the captains have recovered, many were confused about the current situation, so Yamamoto announced a new meeting where he summoned every single captain still in activity.

During the said meeting, Mayuri was charged to present a report explaining everything that happened from the betrayal to their current situation. After that, there was quite a commotion as some agreed with the old man's decision and others not so much. The reunion lasted some hours.

While they were undergoing their meetings, Shin also took his time to explain what was going on to his people, he even explained the reasoning behind his decision... to some extent.

It was an eye-opener for them to hear of the actions of the Soul Reapers, Rukia particularly had a hard time digesting it. While Ichigo, Ishida, and chad found themself disgusted. Orihime however was terribly sad, going even as to crying over the situation. What a good and innocent girl she was.

Yoruichi, however, didn't have that much of a reaction, she already knew about it to some extent, still, she found it surprising that Aizen went out of his way to reveal such a thing to Shin just because he wanted Shin to join him. Who would have thought that Aizen would end up being the one to join Shin instead? She found herself amused at the happenstance.

With Ichigo gushing for his future wife to calm down, Shin had some talk with his girlfriend while Sado and Ishida were surprisingly having an interesting talk of their own.

Soon enough their meeting ended and they came to figure things out between themself, Shin didn't really care as long as they didn't go back on their words. He didn't need a friendly relationship with the Shinigami, neutrality was enough for him.

The captains didn't go out of their way to come to meet him, the only ones that come to them were Soi Fon, Kenpachi, and unexpectedly Shinsui and Ukitake.

The last two just wanted to thank him for healing them while Soi Fon wanted to see Yoruichi just to learn that she was in a relationship with Shin who he recently learned the name.

The result? She became feral but she tried to hide it... which was unsuccessful. One thing was clear however, she definitely didn't like this Shin.

Zaraki Kenpachi was a simple man, easy to understand, he just wanted a good fight which led to their current discussion.

"Do you really like to fight that much?" Shin asked the spiky-haired wild Shinigami.

"What kind of question is that? Of course, I like fighting, I live solely for the thrill of fights!" Or so he answered.

"What a coincidence, I also like to fight, going against a strong opponent makes my blood boil with excitement." That was his Hanma side speaking, the current fighting spirit emanating from him also proved that fact, but he soon calmed down as he continued. "But I also like efficiency just as much, sometimes violence is not enough to resolve your problems... though I doubt you would understand that." And that was his calculative side speaking.

"You are right, I don't understand that, all I want is a good fight, Feeling my blade cutting my opponent to pieces, the feeling of growing stronger is a joy I can not feel in any other way." He said looking at his chipped and worn down zanpakuto.

"I understand, although I love to fight, that's only against opponents either as strong as me or stronger, the current you are far too weak to fight against me."

"But if it's fighting against strong opponents that you want, how about joining me? If you do so, you will be able to meet and fight beings as strong as you, stronger than you, stronger than me even. I can also guarantee that you will be able to get stronger!" Although he didn't plan to recruit Zaraki in the beginning, after knowing his potential he decided that it wouldn't be a bad idea.

"Hoy, hoy, are seriously trying to poach one of our captains right now." Shinsui asked in disbelief, his tone rather laid back.

"I just made an offer, it's up to him to accept or decline." Shin shrugged his shoulders.

"Why do I have a feeling that he will accept?" Ukitake palmed his head before looking towards Shunsui to which Shunsui also shrugged his shoulders.

Zaraki for sure found this proposition rather... attractive, he held no such thing as loyalty toward Soul Society, the only reason he was here was because of his respect and admiration toward Unohana and the fact that he could fight strong people.

Although he didn't like all that thinking stuff, this offer... he will think about it.

But for now, he wanted a fight.

"Yeah I will see, now fight me."

"Safe." Ukitake sighed in relief, Zaraki was undeniably an important asset, it would be too great of a loss to lose him.

"Against you? I pass. Ichigo you are up!" He declined the offer as he held Ichigo by the back of his collar. "Wait, it has nothing to do with me, why should I fight him?" Ichigo complained as he tried to get himself out of his brother's grip.

"You are too weak right now, consider it as training. If you win I will cook something delicious for you" he threw him in the sky as Ichigo flew toward the 11th division's Barack. "You better keep your promises" Ichigo's voice could be heard from far away.

"If you can beat him, I will fight you!" He then told the captain of the 11th division.

"Then I will be back." Zaraki also took off, running after Ichigo.

"That's a good plan you got there." Shunsui complimented, seeing as Shin was swiftly able to get rid of Kenpachi.

"Simple men are easy to read." Shin said he wanted a fight so he gave him a fight, although Ichigo underwent rough training, even learning his Bankai, he still lacked real combat experience.

Knowing the way Kenpachi fought, he would have to give it his all to not die, even more now that Kenpachi knew Shin would heal Ichigo even if he was heavenly injured.

But that didn't mean that Ichigo there was no chance for Ichigo to Win as no matter how monstrous Zaraki's potential was, it was in no way superior to that of Ichigo.

Thinking about that, Shin realized that it was about time for them to get going, they would have to return home soon, since he had more to do.

Also remembering the something, a smile couldn't help but make its way into his face. How couldn't he smile? He was able to copy the Shikai ability of the strongest fire Zanpakuto to this day after all...

...

How about it? Did you expect this? and how did he do it? What are the conditions for it to happen? Have you guessed?
