Hello, I'm the author of Bleach: Soul Song, and as the title said, I messed up reeaally bad.
While it was initially for a bet that I started writing, I actually enjoyed it more than I expected. Soon I had finished writing the 10 chapters, but didn't feel like stopping and kept at it until chapter 21 with 50k+ words.
Once I finished that one I sat down to take a look at actual information about the series, power system, timeline, etc, and I realized I had mistaken a lot of things and understood even more of them wrong. It's simply way too much to just keep the story as it currently is, retcon a few things here and there and hope for the best. I will have to rewrite it in order to correct things, but its not a bad thing.
Since I started up until now, I was able to experiment, research and learn a lot of things, and I feel confident I will surpass my previous self in quality. The overall story won't change much as well, only get better. I bet that many things will be kept exactly as they are.
I will keep the old version (I'll call it that from now on) available as auxiliary volume chapters.
If you are one of the people present in this specific moment, thank you for following the journey of Ren until now. I hope you continue to stick around for the rest of it!

UPDATE:
I have posted the new prologue/opening chapter. Its only my opinion, but I think it its a lot better, really. If you have read the previous ones, or is starting now, I heavily recommend starting from there onwards.
Ps: I will leave this message for a few days before moving it to the auxiliary chapter volume.
