Boom!

In the training grounds, the sky suddenly unleashed a bolt of lightning, targeting the two combatants.

Suì-Fēng instinctively sensed the imminent danger. She quickly stepped back to dodge the lightning strike, narrowly escaping its deadly reach.

However, the moment her figure reappeared, a massive blue streak of light materialized right before her, hurtling towards her.

Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō.

Sizzle.

The crackling of electricity accompanied by the resounding blast as it closed in on Suì-Fēng.

Suì-Fēng tapped her toes, and in an instant, her body vanished, reappearing in another direction.

Suì-Fēng, using Shunpo, had reached an incredible speed where such an attack couldn't catch up to her.

But just as her foot touched the ground, a beam of light came straight at her - an electromagnetic cannon at eight times the speed of sound.

After making several special projectiles to act as short-range spikes, Yamahiko had been continuously experimenting, pushing the speed of his electromagnetic cannon to eight times the speed of sound.

The moment Suì-Fēng saw Yamahiko accelerate the cannonball, she immediately maneuvered to evade. Her body shifted just a centimeter, and the electromagnetic cannon had already traveled twenty meters and appeared before her.

Thud.

Yet, that single centimeter made all the difference. While Suì-Fēng evaded the brunt of the electromagnetic cannon's impact, the energy released by the cannon stripped away a substantial portion of flesh from her arm.

In that moment of injury, Suì-Fēng's body stuned for an instant, and it was precisely then that a second bolt of lightning struck down.

Suì-Fēng stamped her feet heavily to evade once again, but as she moved backward, she was struck by the second bolt of lightning.

Boom.

Suì-Fēng's body went rigid, unable to withstand any more. She plummeted from the sky.

Yamahiko swiftly flapped his energy wings, soaring to Suì-Fēng's plummeting body. He caught her and looked at her left arm, where the bone was exposed, and the expression on her face was filled with agony. Unable to hold back, Yamahiko said, "Captain, I'm sorry."

Suì-Fēng clenched her teeth and replied, "It's alright. I pushed you to go all out."

In this battle, Suì-Fēng wanted to push Yamahiko to utilize his full power against her. During the initial stages of the fight, Suì-Fēng had many opportunities to defeat Yamahiko but kept adjusting her tactics only to test her own combat limits.

However, Yamahiko couldn't unleash his full potential because Suì-Fēng, who fought at close range, could suppress his movements, preventing him from using his full abilities.

So, after several unsuccessful attempts, Yamahiko came up with a better plan.

First, he would use a bolt of lightning to force Suì-Fēng back a certain distance. Then, he would use Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō [Flying Dragon-Striking Heaven-Shaking Thunder Cannon], which required power accumulation, to block Suì-Fēng's approach.

Finally, he would use his electromagnetic cannon, which had the slowest speed, to strike Suì-Fēng and wound her.

After wounding her, Yamahiko didn't stop but continued with a lightning strike. Even though Soifon could still evade it, Yamahiko had anticipated this and prepared the lightning strike in the direction Suì-Fēng would retreat to.

Under normal circumstances, Yamahiko's reaction speed would not have been enough to let the lightning strike hit Suì-Fēng. After all, the speed of lightning, while fast, required Yamahiko to be precise and anticipate position of opponent in advance.

However, this time, due to Suì-Fēng's injury, her speed had slowed down, making her get hit. The lightning left several wounds on her body. She wasn't as resilient as Kenpachi Zaraki; one bolt of lightning nearly pushed her to her limits.

The outcome of this spar might have been considered a win for Yamahiko if it were not for Suì-Fēng holding back.

"Captain Suì-Fēng, I'll take you to Fourth Division for treatment," Yamahiko said while holding Suì-Fēng.

They flew in the direction of Squad Four's barracks, and upon arrival, Yamahiko touched down and dispersed his lightning wings before rushing into the room.

Seeing Suì-Fēng covered in blood with her arm pierced through by a hole, the members of Squad Four recognized they couldn't treat her. They called for Retsu Unohana.

"Follow me," Retsu Unohana on her arrival, told them.

Yamahiko and Suì-Fēng followed her into the infirmary, where Yamahiko placed Suì-Fēng on a medical bed.

Unohana examined Suì-Fēng's injuries and assured him, "Don't worry; I will treat her now."

Unohana approached Suì-Fēng and placed her hands over Suì-Fēng's injuries. In the next moment, her arms radiated with a blue light.

Unlike the green light used for healing wounds, this light was blue.

Furthermore, Unohana Retsu who treat the injuries primarily with one hand, now she was using both.

Under the enveloping blue light, the muscle tissues missing from Suì-Fēng's wound regenerated rapidly.

Though Shinigami have blood, bones, hearts, and blood, they are fundamentally spiritual beings. Hence, they can be healed through Kaidō. However, when an entire limb is missing, it requires a regeneration agent or abilities related to time manipulation.

Abilities related to time manipulation mainly involve space & time manipulation and are limited by position and time. For instance, Inoue Orihime could only restore one day of time. These powers are not just limited to healing injuries but can also restore objects.

Under Unohana Retsu's treatment, Suì-Fēng's wounds healed rapidly, and she soon recovered.

"Please, do not resist," Unohana Retsu said, and after these words, she summoned her Zanpakutō, calling out her release command.

In the next moment, her sword transformed into a massive green creature. Its body resembled a manta-ray like creature, with one eye and three legs.

After the creature appeared, it opened its mouth and swallowed Suì-Fēng. Then, Unohana Retsu smiled and said, "Her wounds were extensive and complicated to treat. It's easier to use Minazuki."

Yamahiko bowed to Captain Unohana and said, "Thank you, Captain Unohana."

"No need for that," Unohana Retsu waved her hand. Then, she asked, "How did Suì-Fēng get injured? Her skin showed signs of charring, and she has numerous wounds, as if she were struck by lightning."

Yamahiko scratched his head and replied, "Captain Suì-Fēng and I were sparring, and she encouraged me to go all out. I accidentally injured her."

Unohana Retsu chuckled and remarked, "It seems that you already possesses the strength of a captain. Even Suì-Fēng acknowledges it."

Yamahiko hastily waved his hands and said, "I didn't defeat Captain Suì-Fēng; she was holding back, letting me attack."

Unohana Retsu smiled and commented, "But you didn't deny having the strength of a captain. I last saw you two years ago, and you've grown this much."

"Where, I still need to keep working hard."

It had been two years since Yamahiko's battle with Kenpachi Zaraki, and he was now twenty-two years old, though he still retained the body of an eleven-year-old.

Yamahiko was even contemplating finding an opportunity to go to the Dangai, where time flowed two thousand times faster. There, he could improve his strength and allow himself to grow up.

At this moment, Unohana Retsu had already released Suì-Fēng from Minazuki, and Suì-Fēng had been spit out. When Suì-Fēng landed on the ground, she was covered in Minazuki's saliva, but there were no more wounds on her body.

Suì-Fēng stood up and said to Unohana Retsu, "Thank you, Captain Unohana."

"It was just a small effort," Unohana Retsu replied modestly while retracting Minazuki.

Meanwhile, Yamahiko approached Suì-Fēng and said, "I'm sorry, Captain Suì-Fēng."

Suì-Fēng waved her hand and said, "It's okay; I asked you to do it."

After saying this, Suì-Fēng looked at the liquid on her body and said to Unohana Retsu, "Captain Unohana, I'll be leaving now, but I'll visit you in a few days."

Although healing was the Fourth Division's duty, this was, after all, extra assistance and didn't pertain to duty injuries. Therefore, Suì-Fēng felt the need to express her gratitude.

"Sure, you can go now."

After Unohana Retsu's reply, Yamahiko and Suì-Fēng left the Fourth Division together.

The two of them leaped toward the Second Division. On the way, Yamahiko kept looking at Suì-Fēng. He noticed that her current appearance was quite alluring. Her Shihakusho was already revealing, and the liquid on her body gave the impression of being attacked by tentacles.

Such a scene could become a whole doujin book.

Sensing Yamahiko's gaze, Suì-Fēng asked with a hint of annoyance, "What are you looking at?"

Yamahiko chuckled and lowered his head.

"Another silly smile."

Suì-Fēng scolded him but didn't say much more. Just then, a figure appeared in front of the two of them.

The figure knelt on one knee and said to Yamahiko, "Lord Yamahiko, Shiba Miyako has already left Seireitei with her team."

Miyako Shiba had left Seireitei with her team squad? It had finally begun?

Hearing the name Miyako Shiba, Suì-Fēng frowned and asked, "Are you investigating Miyako Shiba?"

Yamahiko hadn't planned for Captain Suì-Fēng to discover this information. After all, she was the Commander-in-Chief of the Onmitsukidō, and the authority of the Onmitsukidō was highly centralized in the Commander. She had the qualifications to access any information related to the Onmitsukidō, even surpassing the Third Division-Detention Unit Captain, like releasing the members of the Nest of Maggots.

Therefore, members of the Detention Unit wouldn't bypass Suì-Fēng when it came to delivering a message to Yamahiko, as she has authority over the entire Onmitsukidō unit.

Yamahiko, however, didn't have time to explain and only said, "Captain, I'll explain when we get back. I have to leave now."

After leaving this message, Yamahiko left with the member of the Detention Unit.
