Back to the present, she was still thinking of those memories, and couldn't find herself smiling unconsciously.

'I wish we could be like this forever'

However, it looks like her wish would not come true. When she heard a rough monster-like voice.

"I found you, little soul"

She looks at the top of the gate, only to see a 4-meter-high monster with a mask and a hole in its chest.

'What's that!? No, the question should be what's it doing here!?' Izumi thought with fear apparent in her eyes.

"It took me a while to find you but to think you were actually just this close hehehe" The hollow that looks like a gorilla said while jumping down from the top of the gate.

Boom!

His landing caused a crater in the ground.

Izumi unconsciously took a step back.

" Wh-what are you?'

The hollow tilted its head. "What am I? I am a hollow, you can say we are monsters that devour souls...so do you know what that means?"

The moment the hollow finished speaking, Izumi was already running away from him towards the door of her house.

The hollow didn't stop her, before giggling maliciously. "Hehehehe I am gonna enjoy this hunt"

Izumi enters her house before closing the door, but she has not believed that it could stop that monster from entering.

Izumi immediately began to find something that she could use to hide. She knows her limit if it was a human soul or something then she might fight as she knows some self-defense techniques, but that thing was a huge monster.

She was below the stairs when she suddenly heard some big footsteps coming closer, and she knows that it was the hollow.

She hid behind the stairs, before the hollow appear it looks around slowly. "Where are you little soul~come out~come out where ever you are"

It walked to the stairs making Izumi nervous and scared, it slowly looks around before walking up the stairs.

When she finally can't hear the footsteps, her tense shoulder relaxes for a bit. She was about to go move out of the place until.

"Found You"

Izumi froze and stiffly looks at the top where the mask of the hollow was facing her. She noticed that the chains in her chest were visible in some corners, so it immediately found her.

"Hello"

The hollow greeted her, but thanks to that she managed to gain control of herself and immediately run away, not caring about anything.

She runs towards the exit in hope of escaping, even if she knows that she can't leave this house as she was bounded to the piano inside.

She was close to the exit before the hollow jumped right in front of her, making Izumi stop in her place.

"Is that it come on, run more" The hollow said clearly enjoying the fear and despair that closely consuming Izumi.

"Ha, ha, ha, haaaAAA!!!" Izumi still didn't give up and ran back towards the stairs and climb.

She arrives at the second floor when the hollow jump from his position while his fist was pull back clearly showing he was about to punch.

It was like time slowed down for Izumi, but she still didn't give up and tried to jump away from her place. Just in time as the hollow fist hit the area where she was standing previously.

BOOOMM!

The floor was destroyed including the wall, Izumi was scared while her feet were hurt from random rubble but this didn't stop her from trying to survive and Immediately began to run away again.

The hollow just looked at her sloppy running figure, and leisurely follow. "Come on Little soul, run more cause I think my fist is about to launch again"

The chase continued with the hollow throwing some random attacks, and Izumi putting her best to survive until she was cornered in front of the room where the piano she was bounded.

She tried to open the door, but after the door opened a large hand grab her torso and pulled her.

"I think that's enough chase and it's time to dig in" Izumi saw the hollow open its mouth wide, and bit her.

"Aaaahh!!!" She wailed as the hollow slowly bit her, one of the teeth of the hollow was hitting the area her chest where her chains of fate were connected which further intensify her pain.

The hollow was clearly enjoying her cries as he didn't put effort into biting but slowly added strength as his teeth begin to dig into her flesh.

"AHHHH!!!" Izumi cried as tears began to fall from her eyes, after a few seconds she stopped wailing and just succumb to her fate.

'Looks like this is it for me.... goodbye...Errol...' This was her last thought before the hollow put strength in his mouth to eat her.

It was the darkness and silence of the house that was supposed to accompany her to her death.

That is what is supposed to happen until something like a bullet, zooms in hitting the hollow right to its chest and making its mouth lose its strength, letting Izumi go.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING TO MY FRIEND!"
