2 Chapter 1

Deep breaths… deep breaths… there obviously was a plausible explanation for my situation…

NOT!

What could be a plausible explanation for waking up as a different man with a different set of memories that was the exact replica of a RPG character you created just last night?!

No, I needed to calm down. Deep breaths. Calm down. And then I was calm.

Maybe it was the memories of the man known as Cain Walter properly finding their place in my head or maybe it was something else. But either way the result was that I was calm. And with that calmness, I realized something else.

Power.

I felt like I was powerful enough to bench press a car or split one in two with my hands. I could feel the shadows in the room in a way that was different than any other senses I had and in my own shadow, I could feel the presence of dozens of hollows that had lost their individuality and one hollow that was far more powerful than them. I could feel Rika.

For a moment I felt like calling her out but I discarded that kind of plan immediately. I didn't know whether the sensors around Karakura could locate her as a hollow and more importantly, I wasn't sure whether it would get Urahara's or Aizen's attention.

I didn't want either of those two mad scientists' attention on me and the easiest way to do so would be moving away from Karakura to a nice and far place like England or Ireland. But the thought of running away from the danger also made me… uncomfortable was not the right word, it was more like irritation. Almost like thinking of having some nutrition paste for dinner while the guy next to me eats a T Bone steak.

Battle maniac… I probably shouldn't have written that… and the way I thought about things with a food metaphor probably meant that I shouldn't have written the glutton part either… wonder how the gentleman pervert thing will work…

Doesn't matter. I had just made peace with myself about the battle maniac thing and decided that I might as well go and deal with the bullshit that is the plot of Bleach. So my destination was: Karakura High!

/Rukia POV\

Kuchiki Rukia wasn't having a good month. As a matter of fact, her month sucked!

She had been in the human world, dealing with hollows, that was normal as she was a Shinigami. The problems started while she was following a hollow and then met a rather rude boy.

Kurosaki Ichigo. A living human shouldn't be able to see spirits but he claimed that he could since his earliest memories and that he could interact with them. He had proven that before their talk when his foot had interacted with her ass.

After that things had spiraled down into a disaster.

She realized that she wasn't able to find the hollow she was tracking because the amount of spiritual power Ichigo possessed had confused her senses and then she had gotten injured far more than she was prepared to when she had to protect Ichigo and his family from the hollow's attack.

With such injuries she had no chance to fight a hollow, hell she probably couldn't even fight an academy student in their first year with her injuries! So her situation was that a hollow was about to eat a family with members having enough power to sense spirits and for one of them to even interact with them and then herself. With that much nourishment, the hollow had quite a good chance to turn into a Menos class hollow, in the living world that would mean disaster!

So she decided to do something stupid. She gave her powers to Kurosaki Ichigo. Logic was actually sound in her mind: the boy would get some of her power, defeat the hollow that was already wounded by her and then he would lose those powers in a week at most. A time period where she would keep eye on him and make sure nothing bad happened. That didn't happen.

Instead the boy somehow managed to take ALL of her power and she needed up having to make a deal with that creepy shopkeeper in order to get a gigai and now had to deal with the boy having her powers while waiting for them to return.

Not to toot her own horn but she believed that she did a pretty good job with it.

When it looked like the human was gonna reject fulfilling his duties she showed him what would happen if he did something like that and later on they even purified a rather strong hollow that was targeting his still alive sister.

Then they had dealt with another hollow that had been murdering anyone that tried to help a bird with a boy's soul in it and sent the monster to hell while sending the boy to the Soul Society.

The purchase she made with the gikongan and the grave visit after that hadn't been exactly under control as much as she would've liked with Grand Fisher managing to run away but it was still better than it could have ended up so she counted those as wins as well.

Lastly they had dealt with a spiritually aware showman who was turning restless spirits into hollows due to his ignorance while trying to 'exorcise' them.

Normally these would've meant that her month hadn't been too bad but it was since she was all but USELESS in those scenarios! Her powers weren't returning properly and she was getting restless, at this rate Soul Society might send someone to check on things and if they found out that she gave her powers to a human then no reasoning would save them.

With her brother being the man he was there would be a good chance of both her and Ichigo meeting their ends at the end of the older Kuchiki's blade. And the worst part of the month…

"Ok, everyone please get on your seats."

She was back in academy! Ok, they were called 'schools' in the living world but she still wasn't happy about being in a class again even if she did her best to make sure not to let anyone else realize that.

"Now I know this might be but of a sudden but we have a new student here with us today. A transfer from America, so please for once act like actual students rather than hooligans ok?" The teacher said and Rukia had to admire the woman's lack of care for things that most would see as common sense with a smile on her face as she called her students 'hooligans'.

The new student then walked in and then wrote his name on the board.

"I am Cain Walter, though I guess it is Walter Cain in this country. Please take care of me."

The young man spoke with an easygoing smile and Rukia had to admit that he was a rather attractive compared to most people in the school. He was quite a bit taller than any other student with only one exception and his uniform did nothing to hide his muscles. This was a guy who took care of his body—

Her thoughts were cut short as he walked past her as she felt it. The transfer student, he felt weird. It wasn't exactly noticeable in the first glance but when he had been close enough she could feel it. Spiritual power, far higher than any other human that wasn't named Kurosaki Ichigo. And unlike the orange haired boy, his power felt sinister, almost like a hollow but it still held a human feeling to it. As if he was human but also a hollow. And he was looking at Ichigo before his sight slightly went towards her!

Who exactly was this man?!

/POV Returned\

Rukia looked adorable and I was taller than Ichigo by almost ten centimeters. Don't know why but this felt oddly amusing to me.
