Slowly Ichigo stop singing, but kept rubbing Yoruichi fur. For a week now Ichigo would sing to Yoruichi while hugging her or petting her fur.
Yoruichi at first thought she liked Ichigo because he awoken some maternal instincts in her much to Ichigo dismay.
However now she was starting to think otherwise she still wasn't sure what it was Masaki would often tease her saying maybe she had fallen for him.
But she refused to acknowledge that no way could that be the case he was just a brat with delusions of Grandeur, like a little brother. Ichigo heard that and couldn't help but feel deep hatred for his child body.
Slowly Yoruichi thought back to how all this started.

It was a quiet night the moon hanging with arrogance, the breeze gentle and stood still. And she thought back then where she was in her life and couldn't help but wonder what her life had become. She didn't regret helping Kisuke, after all she did used to have feeling for him….but nothing ever came of it….
So she just stayed there looking at the moon without speaking she didn't know why but ever since she first met Ichigo she liked looking towards the moon and would think of him it was like the full moon was Ichigo smiling to the world lighting up the night sky.
Everytime she would feel weak, unsure of herself, with doubt Ichigo would come out of nowhere and simply just hug her neither of them spoke they would just stay there looking at the moon. She didn't want to talk about why she was sad and Ichigo didn't want to pressure her.
He knew what Yoruichi needed most right now wasn't someone to talk to but someone catch her when she fell down slowly picking her up. She just wanted someone to lean on even if she wouldn't say it.
Yoruichi would always smile but never show him, falling into udder bless. Even though Ichigo could barely wrap his arms around her he would stay with her the whole night.
Until on a day with a full moon that she was looking forwards to all day unsure if he was because of the moon or Ichigo hugging her.
While she was in her cat form Ichigo simply came and picked her up and before she could say anything he came into his room and closed the door.
Everyone saw that but didn't say anything they had seen how Yoruichi would just glaze at the moon just for Ichigo to hug her. And knew Yoruichi had her own problems she didn't want to talk about. But maybe with Ichigo she would open up more.

Kisuke also saw all this but didn't really have anything to say just like Yoruichi he once had feelings for her but nothing came of it, and honestly he was perfectly fine just being her friend. More than anything he just wanted her to find happiness.
Isshin with a tear in his said "Ah they grow up so fast just yesterday i was picking him up babying him and now my son is all grown up already taking girls to his room. Before you know he'll be packing up ready to move out with a women pregnant in hand"
Masaki: It'll be best if you take that back unless you wish to sleep on the couch. My baby isn't going to leave me anytime soon. As for my future daughter-in-law be it Yoruichi, Tatsuki, or even someone else. They could always live with us.
Isshin only felt the endless bitter cold of the deepest reaches of hell, after many years together he knew best than to say anything unless he was seeking death even taking it back would get him a beating.

Yoruichi: Um whatcha doing my little strawberry? Don't you think you are too young to bring a beautiful defenseless damsel such as myself to your room?
Ichigo didn't answer and simply hugged her while laying down on his bed. And begin singing her, looking into her beautiful golden eye with his red pinwheel eyes. Never did he look away from her even for a second or bink all you could hear was his voice and the beating of her heart. He wasn't trying to control her just show her how he felt.
Everybody all of a sudden stop silence evoke them, Standing behind the door you couldn't even hear them breathing. All that was on their minds at that moment was listening to Ichigo sing...Masaki felt a bit better asking herself how come he has never sings for her. Then looked at Isshin and all she could do was sign…

(As everyone heard Ichigo sing they couldn't even think all their minds went blank, never have they heard such a soulful, deep, and rich voice.
Yoruichi was the one most impacted she thought he'll ask whats wrong, or just ask her to sleep with him. Never would she think he'll sing for her. Most of all with these lyrics.
Even tho she never spoke it, this is how she felt how she was feeling and she knew why he was looking into her eyes and not looking away. )

When Ichigo said that she just melted into his arms in her human form. She wasn't dumb she knew what he was trying to say without saying it. It was at that moment without realizing she chose she'll be with him forever for better or for worse she'll be with him. And she fell asleep
