Chapter 223 Destroy and rebuild

Riser was about to do something stupid. 

So it was the time for Ichigo to stop him. He was someone who took his promise seriously. 

He had made a promise to Ravel that he would stop him from doing something stupid.

Before Riser could do anything to the King Piece, Ichigo had already killed him and stolen the King Piece from Riser's hand.

The King Piece tried to invade his soul as soon as he touched it. However, Ichigo's soul was much stronger than Riser's. The King Piece couldn't do anything to him.

It went silent after it couldn't penetrate his soul.

'This thing is quite dangerous, but if I dismantle it, it could be something beneficial for studying.' There were many things that Ichigo still didn't know, and this King Piece could be used as study material.

"Give that back to Riser this instant!" Riser was reborn again after he was killed by Ichigo.

"Nope, you have broken the rule of the duel by using external means. However, I won't tell anyone about it." Ichigo said with a smirk. Riser still hadn't learned his lesson yet. He won't just let it go easily.

Riser felt anger boiling inside him, but he knew he couldn't do anything to him.

Who would have thought that a nobody like him was much stronger than him? Riser tried to fight Ichigo, but every attack of his was useless.

Ichigo either parried it with his bare hand or just stood there for him to attack. His flame wasn't different from a warm breeze to him.

Ichigo killed Riser again and again. Riser felt that his soul became more and more suppressed with each defeat.

It was the hundredth death that Riser stopped trying to fight Ichigo. He simply couldn't find the will to get back up. Ichigo had broken his will. Riser mumbled to himself about how he couldn't bear to face defeat any longer.

"Don't you want to fight anymore? I still didn't have my fill yet." Ichigo used Kenpachi's personality to mess with Riser.

Riser didn't respond. He just stared blankly at the sky. Riser knew he had been defeated thoroughly. 

The man who was the heir of the Bael family was really a real deal. He was no longer a nobody from now on.

Nobody shouldn't be able to defeat the strongest devil of the young generation like this.

No wonder someone like Zekram would openly support him. He was sure that Ichigo would defeat him.

"Well, you don't want to fight anymore. I can't do anything about it. From now on, don't you dare come near Rias. I won't stop killing you until your soul is completely destroyed and you will never be reborn again." Ichigo said that, and then he went off the stage.

The crowd cheered for him, and they completely forgot about Riser. Riser's response got hit, and it went to a negative point.

After Ichigo left the stage, The duel had been decided, and Riser was left defeated and humiliated.

The medic came fast to help Riser.

"Don't touch me." Riser said to the medic as he stood up by himself. He didn't call himself in the third person anymore.

This defeat was a turning point in his life. He had so many things on his mind right now.

Ravel looked at the beaten Riser, who didn't even look at her before he teleported away. He must have gone home to lick his wounds.

This was the first time he faced a total crush by someone the same age as him.

She felt very sad that her big brother had to go through this pain, but it was for his own good. He needed to be truly destroyed in order for her to rebuild him again.

This time, he would become someone better. She just wanted her big brother to be a good devil, if possible. Otherwise, his fate would be far worse than death.

"He really kept his promise. And he didn't want anything in return." Ravel's face went a little red when she thought about when she was trying to give herself to him as a reward.

He refused her out of concern for her well being. He even scolded her for being a bad girl. This was the first time someone treated her like this.

"That's not good. I needed to give him something in return. I can't just take things without giving." Ravel went toward where Ichigo should be. She would at least thank him for stopping her big brother from doing something stupid.

In the VIP room, Venelana felt very proud of Ichigo. He had changed so much after the expedition. He became someone who was truly strong.

Serafall had a face of triumph. It was like she was the one who won the duel.

As for Grayfia, She was impressed by Ichigo. Seeing that he was very young but already at the level that surpasses her. She felt ashamed that she could not break through to god level.

"Now that the duel is finished, Let's go back to the castle and talk about what happened." Falbium said it with seriousness. He wanted to know what had happened to Serafall.

And he saw something that Riser was about to use. It was something very illegal. Just having it in possession would be considered treason already.
