Welcome To The World

"Thankfully all is normal for Captain and the baby. Now you would have to wait for 48 hours or even more for Captain Unohana to enter labor." Isane explained while they were standing outside of the patient room Unohana was staying in.

"Can I stay with her, if you don't mind?" Ichigo asked Isane. Isane smiled merrily.

"Of course you can! Why wouldn't you want to?" Isane looked at him with an amused smile. Ichigo chuckled.

"Thanks Isane, you're the best." Ichigo kissed her, making her blush.

"N-not now, Ichigo. We have our own jobs to do." Isane muttered shyly. Ichigo chuckled and entered the room Unohana was in.

Unohana who was wearing a hospital gown, was lying on the bed semi-comfortably. She had some wires attached to her right hand. She had a heartbeat monitor beside her bed.

"Hey darling." Ichigo whispered and pulled out a folding chair. He sat down on it. He held her hand.

"Dear.... I can't believe it. It's going to happen." Unohana muttered with a smile on her face. Ichigo smiled with her.

"Me too, Yachiru..... Isane said you'll enter labor in about 48 hours or even more. So hang tight alright?" Ichigo muttered. Unohana looked at him.

"Where will you go?" She asked him. Ichigo chuckled. He pointed at the fur sofa beside the bed.

"Right beside you? I'm gonna keep you company." Ichigo answered. Unohana frowned.

" Don't you have a duty to perform?" Unohana asked him. Ichigo groaned.

" Would you rather be alone here? " Ichigo asked her back.

" I get your point. " Unohana grumbled. Ichigo suddenly had an idea.

"I'll be back in a sec." Ichigo whispered and used Sonído to disappear from her sights. Unohana looked on with curiosity.

Ichigo came back with some pillows and blankets. "Some for you and some for me." Ichigo grinned at her. Unohana giggled.

"I already have enough dear." Unohana reminded him. Ichigo's grinned widened.

"Nothing is ever enough, Yachiru." Ichigo replied to her. He gave her some small pillows and a blanket.

Ichigo sat on the black foldable chair and stared at Yachiru intently. "Go get some sleep dear. You do know that you're going to be here for a while. " Yachiru reminded him. Ichigo shook his head.

" No can do, dear. I decide that I will watch over you for the next 48 hours." Ichigo smiled warmly at him. Unohana laughed softly.

"Silly boy. You're going to fall asleep on the first minute." Unohana teased.

"Then Zangetsu will come out and watch over you. " Ichigo answered and kissed her hand.

" How charming. " Unohana smiled at him.

It has been a day since Unohana and Ichigo stayed in the Bright Training Facility's hospital.

" Ow.... " Unohana hissed as she had another contraction. Ichigo frowned as he squeezed her hand tightly.

Unohana was feeling a pain that she had never felt before. It was the most pain she had ever felt in her life.

"C'mon baby.... Why do you have to make mommy suffer." Unohana whispered. A contraction is when the muscles of your uterus tighten up like a fist and then relax.

They're so strong that a woman can't walk or talk during them.

It is only due to Unohana's pain tolerance that she can whisper slowly to Ichigo. Ichigo kept silent all throughout it. It was a natural process so what could he do, stop it?

"Ichigo... I think I'm going into labor... The baby's gonna come out....."

Ichigo was walking beside Isane and a group of doctors and nurses. The nurses were currently pushing Unohana who was laying on the bed towards the delivery room.

"Are you sure I can join you guys?" Ichigo asked Isane. Isane nodded.

"Yes. Please, offer Captain as much support as you can. It's going to be really painful for her. " Isane muttered hastily. Ichigo nodded.

" One two three push!!"

" Arghh!!!" Unohana gritted her teeth as she pushed. She squeezed Ichigo's right hand tightly.

"I swear I'm gonna kill you Ichigo. Why the fuck did you get me pregnant!" Unohana glared at him. Ichigo laughed.

" You're the one who wanted it! " Ichigo shouted back, prompting Unohana to glare at him harder.

"I can see the head! Keep going, captain! You're doing well!" Isane shouted. There was a large blue cloth covered Unohana's legs and more.

"One two three push!!!!"

"Arghhaah!!! I'm gonna kill you asshole!!!" Unohana grunted and squeezed Ichigo's hand tighter.

"I know dear...You can hit me as hard as you want afterwards.." Ichigo whispered soothingly. He didn't want to activate Blut Vene or Hierro for this, he wanted to feel pain alongside Unohana.

"Almost there, captain! One more time!!" Isane shouted.

"One last time Captain!! One two three push!!!"

"Hrggaaaaaahhh!!! Fuck!!!!" Unohana shouted as she pushed for one last time.

*CRACK!!!!*

Ichigo grunted a little as Unohana broke his hand with how hard she was gripping it. It quickly regenerated though.

"Waaaahhhh!!!Waaaaah!!!! Waaaaaahhhhhh!!!!"

A baby's loud cry could be heard all throughout the delivery room. Unohana sighed and started breathing heavily. Finally, her pain is all over.

"Congratulations you two!! It's a girl!!" Isane shouted happily. Unohana smiled and giggled a little. She was elated. The exhaustion she was feeling immediately disappeared.

Ichigo cheered to himself.

'Yes!!! Definitely spoiling her rotten!!' Ichigo thought to himself with a large goofy smile on his face. Unohana looked at him.

"Captain Unohana, Ichigo. You're daughter. " Isane smiled at them as she handed their daughter to them carefully.

Unohana held her near her chest. Isane guided her on how to carry her. Ichigo listened intently while looking at his daughter with a smile on his face.

The baby stopped crying and looked at her parents. "Hello there." Unohana greeted her daughter with a warm smile on her face. Ichigo smiled along with her.

"I'm mommy and this is daddy. We're your parents." Unohana introduced. Ichigo kissed Unohana's cheek proving to his daughter that they were her parents.

She smiled at them, giving them a toothless grin. Unohana felt like she wanted to cry. "She's so cuteee...." Unohana squealed excitedly. Ichigo chuckled.

"She's cute alright. Look, she has your eyes, dear." Ichigo whispered. Unohana nodded while staring at her daughter who was now getting ready to fall asleep.

"And she has your beautiful hair." Unohana whispered back. Ichigo kissed Unohana on the lips.

" I love you, Yachiru Unohana.." Ichigo whispered. Unohana had tears at the corner of her eyes.

" I love you too, Kurosaki Ichigo. You make my life whole." Unohana whispered. Ichigo smiled brightly and kissed her again. He looked at his daughter who was sleeping soundly.

"Welcome to the world, Kurosaki Akari.....
