2. Adachi Kagemori

Having nowhere to go, I started wandering near the village. Following my instincts, I reached a town where I was able to buy a map. I had very little money, which I collected after killing those hunters back in my village. Many people in this village were avoiding me as I had a sword with me.

Commoners usually don't carry swords. They are sometimes arrested if they are seen carrying it. I somehow hid it with a long cloth. Wandering around the village, I found a very old restaurants. Thinking that the food will be cheaper here I went in.

I saw nobody here, except one guy who looked like the type of guy to stay in his house all day. He wore glasses so I couldn't see his eyes very clearly. Surprisingly, he also had a sword with him. Seeing this, I assumed it was okay to expose my sword here.

Right after I exposed my sword..."Don't move one inch, drop your weapon" said the guy in glasses while holding the sword on my neck. I was startled and dropped my weapon immediately and said that I wasn't an enemy. Lowering his sword, he asked what was I doing here in this town and why did I had a sword with me.

Having to choice, I had to spit up the whole story of mine. I don't know why but he was crying. "Oh my God, you still have this much courage to take revenge" said the guy in glasses while sobbing. "My name is Adachi Kagemori. Nice to meet you". He seemed like a nice guy so I also introduced myself.

Adachi also told his story to me. I was astonished that it was almost the same as mine. His village was also destroyed by Otsu clan's hunters and his aunt was killed as well and he was also on a journey to kill the members of Otsu clan.

"I can feel that" said I trying to comfort him.

I frankly asked him if he could show me around the village and that I need to buy food for the journey. He accepted with pleasure. As we were walking around the village we saw some hunters harassing some women. They also hurt some of the men around the village.

I was going to hide then make a plan. I look to my side and Adachi was not there. He already jumped to save those villagers. His skills with his sword clearly showed that he was on par with me. He cut some of the hunters and the others ran away. The villagers were thankful but were also afraid that someone was defying the Otsu clan.

As the hunters were running one of the screamed, "We will be coming back, and kill you guys. Just wait". Hearing that I knew we had to hide somewhere.
