Chapter 3: 

One of the teens was about to punch Leon but he quickly evaded the attack and just pushed the guy to the side causing him to trip on a tiny puddle and fall to the ground.

Suddenly, Leon's reflexes kicked in, and tilted his head to the side knowing that he would get punched and he was right. Then, Leon grabbed the arm of the teen and threw him to the ground pinning him down.

In a split second, Leon rolled on the ground as he grabbed the teen he pinned down and noticed that the other guy just punched him in the face. Leon let the teen go as he noticed that he was unconscious.

"Looks like you're gonna get a beating from him when he wakes up," Leon commented,

The guy who threw the punch got mad and was about to hit Leon but ended up tripping on something on the ground as he landed inside a large recycling bin. THUD!

"Watch where you're going next time," Leon continued,

"That's it, punk! You asked for it!" the guy who was holding Leon's brother said, "Terrence, let's get 'im."

"You sure about this, Henry?" Terrence asked,

"Stop your whining and let's give him a beating!" Henry replied,

As the two raised their fists and were seconds before they land a hit, Leon grabbed both their fists, split them apart, making them twirl around a few times until they were dizzy. Then, both Terrence and Henry suddenly butt heads, slipped on a few puddles and fell to the floor.

On the other hand, Leon surveyed the area. With no one left to fight at the moment, he let out a sigh of relief. He then walked up to his brother.

"Are you alright, bro?" Leon asked as he helped his brother up,

"I'm fine but you didn't have to get yourself involved." Lucas said, "How did you find me?"

"Let's just say a friend told me that something came up," Leon told him, but his gaze shifted to the teens who got back up and they look mad. "Stay behind me, Lucas." Leon told his brother, "It's about to get ugly,"

Just before the teens were about to throw their punches, they heard a megaphone static.

"What's going on over there?" a big burly voice called out, "Hey you! Whattaya doin to those kids?"

"Oh shoot! That sounded like Coach Ned" one of the teens exclaimed, "We gotta get out of here and fast!"

Henry was a bit hesitant about it but agreed to it. As they all ran away in the other direction, he shouted, "You haven't seen the last of me, kid!"

Leon and Lucas were confused then noticed that Nicole was standing there holding the megaphone with a voice amplifier attached to it.

"Smart move there, Nikki," Leon said,

"Uh, who is she? Is she your girlfriend or something?" Lucas asked Leon,

"He and I are just friends and by the way, you're welcome," Nicole replied, "And if I were you two, I'd get back to class. We've got only a few minutes before the bell rings."

"Gotcha," Leon said, "Are you gonna be alright, Lucas?"

"Uh, duh. I'm perfectly fine." Lucas replied, "Now quit your blabbering and get a move on!"

They all ran back inside the building while Lucas went the other way towards his classroom. Leon and Nicole on the other hand ran the other way and looking at the time they only have a minute left on the clock.

"Almost there..." Nicole muttered,

'I just hope we make it in time,' Leon thought,

"Honestly, if I get late because of you, you owe me lunch," Nicole told him,

"Oh, are you asking me out then?" Leon teased,

Nicole stared at him coldly, "One more word out of you and I'll kick you in the groin," she warned him,

"Alright. Alright, jeez!" Leon said, "I was just playing with you,"

"Hmph!" Nicole said, "There's our next classroom. Hurry!"

"I'm right behind you," Leon replied,

With only seconds to spare, they both managed to sneak into their classroom without being seen as they went to their seats. Leon put his bag under his table as he quietly let out a sigh of relief.

As he noticed that the teacher was about to present a video presentation, Leon grabbed his bag and looked inside to check his stuff. After realizing that his books and ball pens are still in his bag, he just put on his hood and dozes off for a bit while the discussion was going on and the lights were turned off.

An hour had passed and Leon woke up realizing that it was already late in the afternoon and the classroom was empty. He quickly grabbed his bag and went out of the room when he noticed that Nicole was right there beside the door as if she was waiting for him.

"Took you long enough, sleepy-head," Nicole said,

"Uh, how long have you been standing there for?" Leon asked,

"Long enough for you to wake up." Nicole replied, "Now let's go. I told your prof that I'll give you the info on your homework."

��Oh," Leon said, "Hold on, if you saw me sleeping, why didn't you wake me up?"

"Did you really think I'd forget about that time I tried to wake you up?" Nicole replied,

"Whattaya mean by that?" Leon wondered,

"That time I tried to wake you up, you instantly bolted up and pinned me to the ground." Nicole reminded him, "I still felt that pain you inflicted on me,"

"Oh, right. My bad." Leon said,

"It's okay," Nicole told him, "Now, we better go. I told your brother that you'll be home in a while."

"Right," Leon muttered,

They both walked out of the building and are now in the driveway which was windy at the moment. As soon as they walked up to the bike racks, they rode on their bikes and went straight back to their neighborhood.
