Chapter 8: A queen never bows.
Sam took shower and got ready for office wearing a grey three piece suit, a dark grey overcoat on his shoulder, a customised silver chain watch that was given by Jennifer to him. His hairs styled back giving off a devilish look to him.
He got into his black Maybach drove off to Andres Groups.
All the staff of the company lined up to greet the Chairman/CEO. Every person had a formal attire on. If it was the old Samuel Andres they wouldn't be so scared but after the death of his wife, he changed a lot.
In the past, he was known as the friendly boss with being the dangerous man alive on the planet but now, he was not only dangerous outside but also in the company. One wrong move and the employee would be fired or dead.
Though Sam was one of the youngest successful businessman as well as heir of the prestigious Andres but now he was in the top 10 richest people alive.
His owned was the top real estate company around the globe and he owned a lot of expensive properties. Even the underworld wasn't left aside by the man.
He was rich and scary and no one dared to offend him since he was known for his bad temper.
His world was filled with money and happiness but things changed once his family died in an accident.
He missed his mom. The way she would care for him. He wasn't even a teen but his entire family died.
When he thought he was gonna lose hopes, Jennifer entered his life like a ray of light. A cold hearted but cute and innocent looking girl who not only taught him to smile but also tamed the beast in him.
People in the underworld thought that he would turn weak after he falls in love truly but that never happened. He was still the same as he was before.
He wouldn't tolerate even if someone called her a bitch let alone dare touch her.
Though she taught him to smile but that warm side was just limited to his cutie lil wifey who was actually two years older than him but he treated her like a small baby who was in need of his care and love.
Every bit of his life and time was dedicated to her. For her, he would even cancel his meetings or take her with him so she wouldn't feel alone without him.
If she was to say she wanted something, he would buy her ten times of that thing until she would get bored of it. One small yelp from her mouth would give him heart attack but she left him alone forever...
The great Samuel Andres stepped out of his car and walked inside the company. Every person in the office bowed to him in respect and greeted him as he walked inside like the King he was.
Just as he walked half way, a black 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO entered the premises and two long legs stepped out of the car. The woman was wearing light pink pencil skirt and white sleeveless blouse that complimented her curvy body and tall height of 5'7".
Her beautiful face was void of any makeup other than lip gloss and eyeliner, her shoulder length wavy hairs were let down. She exuded the aura a Queen as she walked inside. Her face void of any emotion, all blank.
She looked like the untouchable goddess walking inside the lobby full of people on both sides.
It was none other than Lily Sheng.
She walked towards the public elevator next to the private elevator of Sam. "Good morning, President Andres", she greeted but did not bow to him to which he scowled.
Of course that was taught to her by her President himself in her previous life. He told her she was equal to him in all aspects so she should never lower her head in front of him or anyone else.
He always taught her that she was his wife so everyone should bow to her not the other way around. She was the Queen and a Queen never lowers herself. Even the King has to bow to her, who are those other people to make her bow?
"Come with me", he ordered to which she retorted quickly. "I don't take orders."
Sam turned to her and raised a brow. "A Queen never bows her head", she said giving him a confident smile making him narrow his eyes.
They got in the elevator and went upto his floor and to his office.

"Sam, you should get married again. Take that incident as a nightmare and move on", a middle aged man said looking at Sam who was sitting across him on the sofa with a glass of wine in his hand.
As soon as the words left the man's mouth, Sam looked up with his terrific cold eyes that were darker than ever. Lily who was sitting next to Sam felt chills as the room temperature dropped to the winds of North Pole.
She looked at the man sitting next to her and felt a tingling sensation in her lower region.
His face was cold and stoic than ever. Those black eyes were darker and deeper like the black hole that would swallow everything. His clean shaved face looked more handsome as she peeked through her lashes.
Her teeth bit her lower lip subconsciously as a smirk formed on his lips.
"Do you believe I can vanish your family right now? How will you feel if lose your family?", asked Sam in a cold tone. The man went silent and started sweating as he looked the terrifying man sitting in front of him with a calm demeanor.
The calmness before the storm suited Sam perfectly. The more calm he was, the more destruction he would cause.
"Or better, I shall get a new husband for your wife. She would be happy to fuck a new man."
'Bastard for a reason.' Lily thought and chuckled lightly.
"Let's go", he said as he stood up and buttoned his suit jacket. Lily followed behind him out of the room as he told her to cancel the deal with the man to which she sighed.
"You shouldn't cancel the deal for such a small..." She stopped speaking when she bumped into something hard. She looked up and met with the pair of coldest eyes one had ever seen.
She quickly composed herself and took a step back. "Dare you say that again and I'll chop your tongue", he said in such a tone that made her sigh again.
If it was someone else they would have shuddered in fear hearing him but she was used to hear this tone of him with others when they offended him or his wife.
"It's not like he can force you to marry. Why get angry? Or is it that you've fallen in love but wanna run away from the truth?", She asked looking straight into his eyes that were turning darker with each passing second.
"You're fired", he spat and walked away.
Lily chuckled and shook her head as she followed him to his office.
"Pack your things and get out of this building", he shouted as they reached his office. Lily rolled her eyes and went to his desk where he was sitting on his chair like a King.
"According to the contract, I'm here for training and you can't fire me for one month", she spoke with an innocent smile. Sam gritted his teeth and let out a laughter of mockery.
"Do you think my company can't compensate you with a few grands?"
"Do you think I can't throw ten times those grands on your face?"
