Chapter 3: He was all alone.

Jennifer felt something weird as her juices were dripping down there. She opened her eyes wide and looked down to see Sam sucking her breasts. She glared at him and pushed him but ended up being pinned by him.

"What do you want?", she asked staring at him while pressing her lips. "You", he answered to which she rolled her eyes and pushed him.

She tried to get up but he pulled her down on him and held her by her waist.

"Good morning, wifey", he greeted and smiled while he caressed her waist and poked her soft fluffy cheek.

"Good morning, bastard", she greeted and poked his forehead while giving a tight smile.

He chuckled knowing she was annoyed. He pinched her cheek and pecked on her cheek. "I love you, my crybaby", he smiled melting her heart.

"I love you more, baby", she said rubbing her nose on his happily.

"Now let's have some fun in the shower", he said mischievously and picked her on his shoulder.

"What the fuck?! You scammed me. Ahh! Let me go", she screamed while he laughed as he took her to the bathroom.

...

At the dining table, Jen slumped on the table as she stared at Sam who was having his mushroom soup. He looked at his childish wife who was waiting for him to feed her like everyday but he said he won't feed her today as punishment.

"Aren't you gonna have your breakfast?", he asked deliberately to tease he.

She propped her elbow on the table and placed her chin on palm as she stared at the annoying bastard in front of her. She scrunched her nose and pouted her lips making a cute face.

He chuckled and tapped her pout with his spoon. She opened her mouth and took the spoon in her mouth and held it with her teeth to which he laughed loudly.

Who would say she is cold and domineering woman that makes every person bow in front of her and sheds blood like water?

Wearing a light blue spaghetti strap v neck top and a above knee length white pencil skirt with blue floral print and white heels, she looked harmless and elegant. Her straight waist length hairs were let down and face void of any make up she looked beautiful.

She might be the cold CEO of one of the largest interior designing firm and wife of one of the richest and dangerous man but when she was around Sam, she was like a child yearning to be pampered and spoilt by him.

"You don't love me anymore. I should leave", she said looking at him through her thick lashes to which he frowned. "I'll shoot myself", he said in displeasure and anger.

Being someone who had a lot of mood swings, Jen felt unhappy and her mood was ruined immediately. She glared at him. "You always do this. You just go around saying I'll shoot myself and stuffs."

"You can leave me but I can't shoot?", He asked unhappily.

"You keep speaking of death, one day I'll leave forever and you'll never be able to find me. And yeah now don't say you'll kill my parents and all. Don't you even dare touch them."

With that Jen stood up, took her purse and left the mansion. She got in her black Maybach and ordered the driver to drive.

Sam clenched the fork in his hand tightly as he stared at the door of the dining room and gritted his teeth. He stood up and stabbed the fork on the glass dining table making it shatter into pieces.

He threw the fork on the floor and walked out as he took his Tesla and drove away.

...

Jennifer sat in the corner table of a cafe as she stirred the coffee on the table absent-mindedly.

Suddenly her mobile rang gathering up her attention. She saw the name and sighed deeply.

"Yes?", She answered indifferently. A laughter of mockery left her lips after she heard what the person on call said. "Glad to know", she said and hung up without speaking further.

She stared at the coffee and laughed. She took the cup of coffee and poured all the coffee in the plant next to her table. She took out a bill of hundred dollars and put it on the table then left the cafe.

The entire day she was absent-minded in the office. Her meeting didn't go well and she kept hurting herself everywhere. During the lunch time she had nothing even though her assistant ordered everything she loved.

It was seven in the evening and everyone had already left the office except Jennifer and her assistant.

"You can leave. I've something to do, I'll leave later", Jennifer told her assistant who bowed to her and left.

Jennifer sat on her chair leaning her head at the back as she started overthinking everything. She looked around in her office and felt insecure. She stood up and went to the floor to ceiling window and sat there on the floor.

"Why is it always me?", she asked to no one in specific as she felt the left side of her chest ache. Her breathing got heavier and eyes felt heavy but not a tear came out. Her heart felt heavy.

She wanted to cry but no tear came out of her eyes.

Suddenly her mobile beeped, she stood up and took her mobile as she saw one text.

[Bastard: I'm coming to pick you up, stay there.]

Jennifer sighed and kept her mobile on the table. She suddenly felt cold. So many questions rised in her mind that were unanswered. She wanted this pain to end once and for all.

She needed an escape but she promised her bastard to never drink.

Jen looked around and suddenly some more thoughts occupied her mind as she thought of everything. Her vision got blurry and head started pounding hard.

She got out of her office and entered the elevator. She went to the topmost floor of her building and stared at the city in front of her. It looked so beautiful with star like lights everywhere but yet it couldn't make her feel any better.

She went to the edge of the rooftop and looked down from 45th floor. She sat there for a while as she started overthinking about everything in her life.

"Wish you all knew how I feel. Why can't I have peace?", She spoke to herself as her heart ached thinking about everything. She sighed and stood up.

Suddenly she felt numb. Her mind went blank. All she thought of was that she wanted peace. She wanted to be free from everything.

She looked down and smiled painfully.

Without thinking any further, she let her body lose and fell down. As the gravity pulled her down, she smiled. Finally, she would be free from everything. She will be at peace, right?

Just when Jen fell on the ground, a silhouette stepped there. He took a step back when he saw the body. Her eyes wide open as she smiled and stared at his handsome face.

Sam's entire body went stiff as he stared at the love of his life lay in the pool of her own blood. He fell on his knees and held her in his arms as he shouted at the guards to call 911.

She held his hand and looked at him as she spoke with difficulty, "I'll... be at peace now. I... love... you."

"Baby please hold on. You'll be alright. I'll not let anything happen to you", he shuttered as he spoke each word. His body was shaking as tears continuously fell down his cheeks.

"You can't leave me like my parents. You gave me word you would never leave me. If you leave me I'll kill everyone, even your parents", he cried as he held her close to his chest but she was gone. She did not respond. She did not refute this time.

He hugged her corpse and cried loudly. She was his world and it was taken away like anything within a few seconds. His everything was snatched away from him by God.

He felt useless at that moment. He couldn't make his wife feel better that she had to take her life. He was broken and it would be too hard to mend that broken self.

...

[Jennifer Andres, the CEO of Jen Interiors and wife of Samuel Andres commited suicide this evening. As per the reports, she was mentally unstable and was suicidal.]

The news shook the business world.

Every person who knew Jennifer personally was in shock. They always saw her a strong personality, never would they have thought she would commit suicide.

...

On the funeral ceremony,

Sam fell on his knees in the backyard of his mansion. He was going to bury her in a special place. This was the place where she loved to sit since it was full of flowers and shed, now she is no more here to sit around and relax, just her memories and her body.

Angel, Ali and Rahim who were his childhood friends were also present there. They had never seen Sam cry so much. Not even when his entire family died.

Angel who took Jen as her little sister was crying too but managed to gather herself.

"Sam, you need to gather yourself", Rahim spoke slowly.

Sam was crying as he stared at the tombstone with Jennifer's name and picture with her birth and death year. He gave a small nod and stood up.

He regretted speaking badly with her. He regretted not going to her even once that day.

She kept her words. She told him she'd leave one day without a word and she did.

Just how much pain was she bearing for her to take her life like this?

...

After the death of his beloved wife, Sam got more aggressive than earlier. Only she was the one who could tame this beast but now she was gone and the employees had to bear his wrath.

He would drink all night and smoke like crazy. Due to no sleep, he had dark circles. He looked tired. He was hurt, alone and in pain.
