For most of the people in the world, their relationships with other people happened after their births.
But for some people, they had known each other in their distant previous lives.
For example, after meeting her creator, Xi Yao, on the immortal tree in the Immortal World, Xuan Jian (The female lead) realized that Xi Yao, with her longing for Immortal General Fei Peng, had created her with a fruit from the immortal tree and tossed her into the mortal world. Jing Tian was a reincarnation of the Immortal General Fei Peng.
It was fate that these two people would come together and experience another cycle of life from meeting to knowing each other.
As time went on, some people would drift further apart in the human world while others would still drift toward each other even after 1,000 years.
