Target and the Nameless Agent

In a marshland surrounded by high mountains, a mountain about six hundred meters tall stands amongst the many. Growing behind it are very tall pinelike trees all bent weirdly making the entire mountain resemble a peacock that has its feathers spread out.

At the foot of that mountain is a cave large enough for 3 people to fit in walking side by side and in it is a muddy pool that stretches to the depths of the cave.

Two laser beams flash around in the cave as two men make their way through the dark cave with half their bodies submerged in the muddy water. One has a faceless black mask while the other has only a handkerchief tied to the lower part of his face.

The two quickly make their way through the cave without making the slightest of noise except leaving small ripples in their wake. After walking for about half an hour through the cave, their path is hindered by a cave wall.

They turn to look at each other and with a nod proceed to anchor themselves to the wall hindering them via cables. They then plant explosives on the cave wall in the form of a circle before distancing themselves from the wall.

After five seconds of countdown the explosives detonate creating a large hole within the wall. The two quickly grapple through the hole releasing smoke grenades before touchdown.

Beyond the wall however, is a large underground facility no bigger than an average castle covering about 9,000 square meters. The facility houses many plants and test animals of different species. There are also some large manufacturing machineries spread throughout the facility.

BOOM!

Rock debris cascade into a room in the facility setting off a series of alarms with red flashing lights. Smoke fills the room and before the guards can lift a finger, their bodies slump to the floor oozing blood from various parts as two grappling men touchdown from the hole.

Immediately a horde of henchmen quickly rush to engage the intruders. Bullets start flying as blood spills across the floor mixing with the muddy water that is flowing into the facility via the hole in the cave wall.

Every bullet that is fired from the two intruders makes the opposition horde one man less. The entire facility is put in a frenzy a people flee towards the other end of the facility.

OFFICE IN THE FACILITY

In an office in the facility a woman about thirty-five is sitting behind a desk glaring coldly at the door with a glum look on her face as the lights in the room flicker on and off. A guard runs into the room as her delicate figure moves from behind the desk going towards the door.

"What is going on out there?" she asks calmly as the door pushes open revealing the guard.

"We are attack ma'am" he answers hastily.

"Who is so daring to attack us?" she asks in surprise.

"I have no idea but there's only two of them"

"Two?" She is shocked. Never has she imagined the facility will be under attack and that too by only two perpetrators.

[Who could be behind this?] she recedes into thought.

"Yes. One has a faceless mask while…"

"Faceless mask? Wie Long that b@*t&rd!" she growls angrily. "It's the Selma Society and those two should be The Target and the Nameless Agent. Just send more people to slow them down we need to get out of here right now"

"We are abandoning this place? Again?"

"We don't have a choice. Those two are SSS agents and they can clear this entire place under an hour. Just do as I say and meet me at the dock" she says and without hesitation rushes out of the office towards the underground dock.

"Are those two that scary?" the guard whispers and runs out after her.

Heavy gun fire has the two intruders seeking shelter behind walls.

"Hey Nameless Agent, aren't you supposed to be one of the best agents there is? Why are you cowering behind a barricade?". The man with the handkerchief for a mask yells at the man with the faceless mask behind a wall opposite him.

"And you are doing what exactly?"

"I'm taking control of the situation. There's a difference" he continues to yell as the gun fires drown his voice.

"Yeah, a difference. And the infamous Target is unable to shoot with precision. What could be worse than that?"

"A nameless agent with a name?"

"If you are the target you claim to be why don't you shoot everyone over there right now?"

"I can but I won't. I want to see what's so special about the Nameless Agent to have him paired with a genius like me"

"I don't like this either. I would rather be on my own than with the likes of you"

They two continue to argue whiles taking turns to shoot those firing at them.

"You know what, I don't even want to be around you anymore. You will pollute me with your bad precisions" the Nameless Agent says launching a concussion grenade into the midst of the horde firing at them.

The two move out of hiding taking out all their targets one after another as soon as the grenade is off. A bullet per man and in under three minutes, the place is filled up with a heap of bodies.

"You could have done that the whole time?" Target looks at him with disdain. Nameless Agent shrugs his shoulders and runs off ignoring him.

"What's with this guy?" he whispers and goes after him.

DOCK

A woman in purple dress runs towards a docking submarine. She is about two meters tall and very beautiful. Unlike her cold looking face, her black eyes display a hint of warmness, one that could cause you to let your guard down around her. Many people in white coats run into the submarine alongside her with the various symbols displayed on their coats signifying their ranks.

In less than five minutes they have successfully boarded the submarine.

BOOM!

Before they could undock, an explosion behind sends henchmen flying in all directions and the shockwave rocks the submarine back and forth.

Inside the submarine the purple dressed woman makes her way into the cockpit with a man behind her. He is the guard that went to her office.

"Blind them and get us out of here" she says emotionlessly to the captain and heads back to her own compartment.

Nameless Agent and Target are running towards the dock when suddenly a large barrel lands right in front of them exploding upon impact. They are sent reeling back into the walls off the cave before dropping to the ground with a loud thud.

The two pull themselves back to their feet with blood leaking from the side of their mouths. The entire vicinity is shrouded in thick fog like smoke causing them to lose sight of everything in their immediate vicinity. Try as they might, they could not see anything around them. Even their infrared googles could not pick up anything.

A few minutes pass and as the smoke eventually clears, they are greeted by an empty dock.

"D*$n it! She escaped again" Target is furious.

"Don't worry we will bring her in sooner or later". The two turn around leaving the facility.

DESTA PHARMACY

In a pharmacy about the size of half a football field, many people come in and out every minute. It is as though they are coming in and out of a mall. In a section of the pharmacy, a card with a black and gold jester atop it rests on the floor. As people pass by it, the card suddenly disappears.
