I close the curtain of the, dare I say, very small dressing room, and start to undress while Mrs. Snurly finds me a few dresses. Narcissa was sitting in one of the chairs next to the dressing room so she could see the dresses when I came out.
I finish undressing, so I'm left in my bra and panties. When she comes back, she hands me three very thick dresses. I close the curtain once again and hand up the dresses and grab the first one. It was a pink, spaghetti strap dress, with a poofy bottem and white gems sparkled all over the the bottem as well. It had an opened back. Pink was acually my least favorite color so I hated this dress.
I step out of the dressing room, making Mrs. Snurly and Narcissa stop talking to look at me. I saw Narcissa's eyes widen a little bit at the sight of me. Mrs. Snurly let's out a small gasp.
"What do you think about it deary?" She asks me, in her American accent. I look down at the dress once more and let out a sigh.
"I'm gonna be honest with you, I hate it. No offence." I say. Mrs. Snurly let's out a small laugh.
"That's alright deary. We all have different opinions." I give her a small smile before turning around and going back into the changing room.
~~
I had tried on about 7 dresses and I was getting kind of tired. None of them seemed right to me.
I was standing in the dressing room, in my underwear, while Mrs. Snurly was looking for more dresses. There was one dress that I had yet to try on in there. I already knew that I was gonna hate it. It was a brown dress with clear crystals as a belt. It was pretty but it wasn't my style. I let out a sigh and picked up the dress. I open the dressing room curtain and place the the dress on the bar on the wall next to it and go back inside the dressing room, not knowing that Narcissa had seen me, in my underwear, from where she was standing next to Mrs. Snurly, helping her pick out a dress.
"Wait, I have a dress in the back that I know you'll love!" Mrs. Snurly says to me.
'I hope so.'
I hear her walk to her storage room, leaving Narcissa to sit in her chair, which she returned to after Mrs. Snurly told her to go back to, and me in the dressing room. I hear Narcissa stand up and walk over to the curtain of the dressing room. I could see her feet underneath the curtain from where I stood. I walk over to it and open the curtain. I hear her suck in a breath when she sees me in my underwear. I see her eyes roam my body, her pupils dilating a bit, before looking me in the eye.
"What do you need?" I ask in a sweet tone. She clears her throat before speaking.
"I have to go do a small errand but I'll be back in a bit. I shouldn't take to long." She smiles a bit. I smile and nod. She gives me a quick nod before turning around and quickly leaving. I shut the curtain and continue to wait for Mrs. Snurly. She eventually comes back with the dress.
"Okay, I know this one is the one!" Mrs. Snurly says with excitement. I open the curtain once more and gasp when I see the dress. It was the most beautiful dress I'd ever seen in my life. It was a silk, dark green, off-the-shoulder, long dress. The top part of it had green gems covering it, slowly fading away the bottem. The bottem of the dress was poofy but not too poofy. It had a very thin layer of black lace over top it, giving it that slight dark-ish look.
I nod slowly, still in awe at the sight of the dress. Mrs. Snurly let's out a soft laugh at my face.
"I'll get this set up and when Narcissa returns, we'll get this payed for." She says. I finally tear my eyes away from the dress and nod at her. She smiles and goes and puts the dress into it's bag. I close the curtain and put my turtleneck and trousers back on again. I leave the dressing room and go over to Mrs. Snurly, whom was zipping up the bag with my dress in it.
"Alright. You're all set! Now all we have to do is wait for-" As if on que, Narcissa enters the room.
"Right on time, Cissy." I say. Narcissa smiles and tells her eyes. I couldn't help but chuckle at her, making her smile grow.
"Have you picked out a dress?" Narcissa asks, referring to the bag.
"I have. You'll have to wait until the night of the ball to see it though." Narcissa sighs and nods. I smile at her impatience before turning back to Mrs. Snurly.
"Ready to check out?" She asks. I nod my head. We both then turn our heads to Narcissa.
"Yes." She says. I only then realize that she is holding a bag with a few things in it. I don't bother asking what they are. We then go to the counter and check out.
~~
Narcissa had sent my dress back to the Manor and into my wardrobe, using magic of course, so we didn't have to carry it around all day.
"Can we get two butterbeers please?" Narcissa says to the waiter. He nods and writes it down on his notepad thingy before walking away to grab our drinks.
"Hey, Cissa?"
"Yes, Y/N/N?"
"What's in the bag?" I ask, pointing to the bag she still holds. She looks at the bag for a moment.
"Sorry love, can't tell you." I let out a sigh, trying to ignore the butterflies I got at the nickname shd gave me.
"Okay, fiiiiine." I say, very over dramatically. Narcissa let's out a warm laugh, making me smile. She places a hand over mine once she calms down.
"You are a very funny girl, Y/N." I blush and look down.
"Thank you." I say. Narcissa smiles and takes her hand away, much to my dismay. The waiter then comes back with our drinks and sends me a quick wink before leaving again. I look to Narcissa to see her looking at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Why does every waiter and waitress flirt with me?" I ask her. She chuckles a bit before answering.
"Because, you are a very beautiful girl, Y/N." I blush a bit and look down at my drink.
"Not as beautiful as you though." I say before looking back up again to find a blushing Narcissa. I couldn't help but smile. Just then, we see a flash, making our heads turn to the side to reveal Rita Skeeter and her camera man.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here, hmm? A date?" Rita asks, tilting her head to the side. I groan and smack my forehead.
"This is not a date." Narcissa says, with a new tone I haven't heard yet. A deeper tone. A tone full of anger for the annoying witch.
'Why am I so turned on now? Oh my Merlin, no. Y/N. No.'
Rita simply smirks before disappearing again. I groan and roll my eyes.
"That woman." I groan out.
"I know. Let's not let her ruin this day though, okay?" Narcissa reassures, placing her hand on my shoulder. I look at her hand and back at her and nod my head. Narcissa smiles and takes her hand off, returning her focus to her butterbeer while the waiter finally comes back with our food we ordered.

The rest of our day was spent going to different shops and such. I was having way too much fun with Narcissa. More fun then I've ever had with Draco. With him, I always had to hide who I truely am, but with Narcissa, she makes me feel as if I can be my true self. Which I am when I'm around her. I could tell she feels the same way. I've seen how she acts around Lucius. It's like how I have to act around Draco. We have to act the way they want. I'm not a gold digger. I'm not friends with Draco for his money or anything. I'm friends with Draco because he was the first person to talk to me at Hogwarts.
Me and Narcissa were heading back to the fireplaces so we could floo back to the Malfoy Manor. That's when Narcissa stopped in her tracks. I stopped when I noticed she wasn't next to me anymore, which didn't take long. I turn around to see Narcissa thinking.
"Hey, you okay?" I ask her. She looks at me with a smile.
"I am fine. I just remembered that I have to grab something." She said. I could see that she had a hint of mischief in her eyes. I raise an eyebrow and narrow my eyes at her.
"Hmm, alright." I say, very suspicious of her. Her smile turns into a smirk at my suspicion.
"Oh, relax love. I just need to purchase something. Here, take some floo and go back to the Manor. I won't be far behind." She says, holding out the bag of floo powder. I narrow my eyes even more but grab some of the powder. She smiles and walks with me over to the fireplace. I step in and hold the powder up.
"Malfoy Manor!" I yell before throwing the floo down and engulfing in green flames. The flames clear after a bit so I step out of the fireplace and onto the hardwood floors of the Malfoy Manor.
As soon as I stepped onto the floor though, I felt uneasy. There was this tension in the air that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I felt that there was a even bigger darkness that loomed in the air. There was this evilness. This powerful energy. I was starting to get more uneasy the more I stayed downstairs so I walk quietly up the stairs of the Manor and to my room, but, unbeknown to me, there was a special reason for all these feelings. And that special reason, sat at the head of the table in the dining room, just below my feet. That special reason, was the leader of the evilness and the darkness. That special reason, was the darkest man of all time. That special reason, was Lord Voldemort and his followers which, I never believed to happen, I would soon be part of.
