The next few days were non eventful, as all I did was eat, sleep, and crap. I did this until I finally got that notification.

Congratulations: you have now reached Spirit Gathering Rank 1. As you are now a cultivating spirit beast, you're only a little less weak than you used to be. As you have broken through to the Qi Gathering realm you're given 10 stat points and 2 skill points to distribute. Skill purchase menu will be available after you evolve.

Congratulations you qualify for your first evolution. As a Spirit Beast, you can now start to specialize in one of five different spirit beast forms that are ideal for cultivation.

Spirit Beast Form Cultivation choices:

Dark Panther Cub:

Who fights fairly, certainly not you. A Dark Panther Cub uses each and every dark, underhanded technique at her disposal. Surprise attacks, poison, and even thievery. You fight dirty because winning is all that matters. +5 dexterity +5 agility

Dire Panther Cub:

Intelligence who needs it, you certainly don't. You can't use what you don't have, but who cares. Your brute strength, berserk like states, body modifying abilities makes you a fierce fighter that only the bravest would face head-on, or for those masochists out there you can be a tank. +5 strength, +5 stamina

Arcane Panther Cub:

Cowardly or too scared for close combat, than this is your choice. Attack enemies from a distance with magical spells. With arcane arts you can call upon the elements, or if you're the type that hates one on one, then take the punk way out and summon allies to your side. It could be elementals or even the dead, who are at your command to jump any foe. +5 int, +5 Wisdom.

Mystic Panther Cub:

Indecisive much? In this class, you can blend magic and combat. This steroid loving freak uses magic to enhance her strength, her speed, and even imbues the very elements directly into her body making devastating physical attacks. +1 str, +1 stamina, +2 int, +1 Wis.

Night Shade Cub:

The first step in accepting who you are. Being a creature of shadow, darkness becomes your greatest ally. Be a master of shadows during the day, and a master of darkness at night. Enjoy stalking, well you are the being that creeps upon its prey during the night, or through shadows during the day. Speed and lethal attacks are your means to fight. Your enemies die before they even know they were attacked.

Max Lvl to midnight prowler, Max Lvl to Shadow Cloak, Binding Shadow Lvl 1.

Surprisingly, I have so many choices, each seem to have their own benefit, and a decent boost to stats, which I'm in desperate need of right now. Wait, Night Shade doesn't have any stat boosts, but in contrast, it greatly enhances my skills. And looking at the descriptions it seems as if the system is almost recommending this in his irritatingly, insulting and subtle way. Sigh, I guess it would be an early loss, for a later gain.

All of a sudden I felt insurmountable pain radiating over my entire body. Bones lengthened muscles tore and self repaired as they stretched until finally, my body stopped growing. Before I could start to feel relief from the growing pains, I started to feel a tearing sensation just below my navel. Closing my eyes I found I could see within my body. I could see the focused energy building below my navel, creating my dantian. Once my dantian was firmly formed I started to see tendrils burst from it, snaking their way through my body, forming channels right along my veins, arteries, and finally my capillaries. During this process, I felt as if my body was being torn apart from the inside out. Now I looked like a large cub standing 4 feet tall on all fours, with a dark billowing smoke-like substance coming off me like steam from a kettle.

Full of excitement and bursting with newfound energy I couldn't wait to see my progress. "Open Status screen" I shouted.

Host's hatefulness has reached new heights the host's mere presence can bring discomfort and/or fear to their hearts.

Effects: this title grants the host the skill intimidation Lvl 2, while deducts 2pts from the host's charisma (no one likes a hateful Cub)

Skills:

Intimidation Lvl 2

With the right look or hateful glare, many will stop in their tracks

Effects: Once the skill is cast target loses 25% of the host's Strength from their strength stat.

Cost: 5 Spirit Points.

Midnight Prowler: LVL Max

For maxing LVL Host gets an additional 25% buff: 50 is raised to 75%

all creatures are 75% less likely to spot you, and 75% more likely to find you during the day. If you attack while unnoticed you gain a 75% bonus to attack damage. This is a passive skill and is always active.

Shadow cloak: LVL Max.

Max LVL Bonus:

Shadow Cloak is now a passive skill that automatically activates when danger or prey is detected.

Even during the day you may have some protection, cloak yourself with shadows, and as long as you are in the midst of a shadow, your skill Midnight Prowler is negated for all debuffs. You gain an extra 50% chance of staying hidden. If you are not in the shadow the debuff from Midnight Prowler stays in effect. All is not lost, for although you can easily be seen, it would be difficult for enemies to pinpoint your exact location granting you a plus 50% chance to dodge.

This is a passive skill that activates upon danger or prey no SP consumed.

Shadow Bind:

Once activated the shadows underneath the prey or enemy become living tendrils, binding the target to their current location. Cost per use 5 SP.

Spirit gathering realm innate skill:

As a Spirit gathering cultivator, you can sense Spirit energy within you, and all around you. You can even begin to sense it in others. This heightened sense unlocks the basic meditation cultivation technique and the Analyze Skill.

Meditation Cultivating technique. With this technique, you enter a meditative trance. In this state, you remain completely aware of your surroundings, slowly draw in 1 x Wis (2) spirit points per minute, and 1 cultivation point every 2 hours.

Response:

Greedy Much? Well for the impatient ones let it be known that the Host can obtain Cultivation Points by consuming other spirit beasts, or their monster cores. The higher the rank the greater the gain.

Once activated host can see information about the target. At current LVL host can see targets name and level. If targets LVL is too high, then only the name would be displayed.
