(Lucia Taylor 1962)

"Lucia Taylor?" one of the guards knocked on the door.

"Leave me alone, I'm still grieving!" Lucia cried.

"Ma'am, the president is here to see you."

Lucia got up from the floor and wiped her tears away. "Let him in."

The president walked into the large room. "Lucia, listen."

"Why are you here." Lucia crossed her arms.

"It's our fault that Kelvin died." The president said, giving Lucia a hug.

"Your damn right." Lucia pushed the president aside.

The president grabbed a picture of Kelvin, Lucia's boyfriend. "He was a great soldier."

"and you are half the man he was." Lucia snapped.

"My offer for his position still stands." The president smiled.

"And my answer is still no." Lucia yelled.

The president put out his hand to shake it with Lucia.

"No!" Lucia slapped his hand away, "You get out of here right now."

The president opened the door. "Good day."

Lucia sat back down on her desk. She needed to figure out who killed him. She knew that looking for his sister would be bad for him, now look what happened.

"Time to pay a visit to an old friend."

The ride was short, and in no time, Lucia was sitting on Jason Cho's red couch sipping some tea.

"Listen, the president knows nothing." Jason reassured.

"The war is lost, and it's all his fault." Lucia buried her face into Jason's couch,

"Kelvin's sacrifice will not be in vain." Jason said calmly, grabbing Lucia's hand. "Can you not cry on that couch, it's brand new.

"The Nazis have already taken over all of Asia and Europe." Lucia sniffled.

"It's ok," Jason smiled sweetly. "Breath, just Breath."

"It's not ok, Kelvin is gone." Lucia cried.

Jason gave Lucia a worried look.

Lucia left the house and drove all the way to her office.

"Ma'am, the president is being persistent, he wants to meet with you."

"Tell him I said no!" Lucia yelled out the door.

The president stormed into the room. "I just want to talk to you."

"Get out!" Lucia snapped.

The president smirked. "No, you've been ordered to meet the new sergeant."

"You replaced Kelvin!" Lucia cried

"We have to." The president slammed the door behind him.
