(Carlos Jaxon 1961)

Jax sat in a helicopter transporting him to the edge of Germany's border.

Two other soldiers sat next to him. Lieutenant Kingston Becker, or King for short and Karl Wagner. Two fine soldiers and one of the weakest teams that Jax had ever fought on.

"So Jax," King said. "You know The Black Scarlet?"

Jax never got used to Silvia's codename. She used to be ''The Black Mist" cause she was so good at hiding, she was there, then gone. Few months later, she changed her uniform from Black, to Scarlet with black stripes, that's where the Scarlet came from.

"Yeah, I do." Jax rolled his eyes, not wanting King to keep asking about Silvia.

"Don't you roll your eyes at the king.'' Karl said.

Jax cursed at them in Japanese.

"We're here!" The pilot called.

Jax looked out the window. It looked like a warzone out there, well it was a warzone.

The closet they got, the clearer the battle became.

"Get us closer to Homebase!" Jax yelled.

The pilot nodded and flew down.

"King, open the goddamn door." Jax instructed.

"You can't tell me what to do."

"King!!" Karl yelled.

King opened the doors and in they went.

Jax grabbed his Assault rifle and moved into the battle. "Follow my lead!"

King charged past Jax and Karl followed.

They were both shot by a turret in the distance.

"Jax?"

Jax turned to find Silvia McCoy.

"Hey Silvy."

Silvia nodded in his direction and ran off.

"Wow, that was-"

"Rude?" A familiar voice finished his sentence.

"Oh hi Kathalene." Jax said firing at an Allies soldier in the distance.

"She's like this in battle, don't take it personally." Kathalene laughed.

Jax followed Kathalene towards a squad of soldiers.

Kathalene fired at one soldier, the bullet pierced his head and flew into the next soldier.

"Great shot.'' Jax nodded. "Now where's Silvia."

"Don't say her name." Kathalene lunged at Jax pushing him out of the way from a bullet.

"Ok, Nighthound." He said to Kathalene.

"Shut up Dingbat." Kathalene groaned.

Jax was given that codename by King. He was stupid and an eccentric person.

Silvia thought the name was cute, so it stuck.

"Dingbat!" Silvia called.

"Hey that's a first." Kathalene laughed

Jax ignored her and ran towards Silvia.

"Hey."

Silvia gestured for him to follow.

He did, but with a bit of hesitation.

"So, Kathalene said you don't talk much."

Silvia ignored him and kept running.

"Come on." Jax urged.

Silvia stopped. "Be quiet, or you'll get a throwing knife to the leg."

Jax laughed and said. "Sure."

Silvia grabbed a knife from her pouch. "I mean it."

Jax finally stopped. "Where to?''

"Enemy lines."
