#8: Pressure

We've arrived at Tsuchimikado Island. That's good, but in front of us there's the leader of all exorcist in Japan, and beside us there is a guy that blew up our cover.

..... Strangely enough, why I had this furious feeling toward him?! Is he and I met before?!

Beside Yukari and him, there are two men inside. One is the leader of all exorcist. He's wearing glasses, amber eyes and long white hair with dark end. His name was Arima Tsuchimikado.

Then the other man is Seigen Amawaka, a man with black hair with yellow stroke of ahoge. He had dark circles under his eyes which made Ren felt Déjà vu.

Dark circles... is he the one?! No, I should gather information first.

While the three of them were talking about Yukari's research, Ren was quiet and focus watching Seigen.

"Ren-chan"

"Ren!"

Ren finally snap. Yukari had been calling him over and over. It seems he focused watching Seigen that he lost in thought.

"Ah... sorry Yukari-nee san, I felt... tired... I didn't get any sleep inside the box"

"Is that so? More importantly introduce yourself to them" say Yukari.

Ren then glance toward Seigen then Arima, he open his mouth and start introduce himself.

"Ren"

Simple, and straight forward.

"Mou~ Ren-chan, you should introduce yourself properly!" Urge Yukari.

Ren sigh, he then reintroduces himself.

"Sorry about before. My name's Ren Sasaki. Ren for Love, Sa for help, assistance, lastly The Ki, mean Tree. I'm 13 years old"

"and I'm.... an EXORCIST"

Ren says the last word with an emphasis. Unbeknownst to Ren, Seigen clench his fist which Arima notice.

"Hee... an exorcist I see" say Arima cynically.

"Ah... I remember, there's someone from the mainland who requested to do divine ceremonies, but was rejected because he's too young"

Ren twitch his eyes, and he replies it with a smile "Yes... that is me"

Arima amused because Ren's reply then speak further.

"Are you here to help Yukari-san with her research or just to get to the island, so you can fight Impurity, even if we already REJECTED you?" Ask Arima, emphasis on Rejected word to goading Ren.

"Hmph! Of course, I'm here to help and protect Yukari-nee san. You see, my sister is a beauty, it worries me that when she's alone on this island, she would get hit on by some Islander Bastard" scoff Ren.

"Beside... I can always request divination ceremonies in the next 3 to 5 years"

gain, Arima a bit amused because his reply

"Such a Siscon! By the way, that Islander Bastard you talk about is it including me?!" Intimidate Arima, he let out an enchanted power pressure and bloodlust to Ren.

Seigen, and Yukari who somewhat felt it, steps back immediately.

Ren who receives the bloodlust, and felt the intense pressure of his power, gulp his saliva and clench fists so hard that its digs into his flesh, wounding him.

Cold sweats formed on his back, but he stays his ground and try to speak back to Arima

"Do you want to harm Yukari-nee san?" ask Ren, still under pressure.

"If I say I do?" Say Arima still pressuring Ren.

"Then, you are truly a BASTARD!"

Ren then let out his own enchanted power and killing intent to Arima.

Arima who received Ren's is amused, he then increase his enchanted power pressure more, while Ren also reply in kind.

Both of them didn't move at all, only clashing using enchanted power pressure alone, trying to make the other submit.

Seigen who had enough irritation for today, decide to stop both Ren and Arima.

"Enough!!!" Shout Seigen, he then glances at the terrified Yukari "We here to discuss this woman's research, not fighting!"

Ren who hears Seigen's words retract his enchanted power and killing intent, then approach Yukari.

"Sorry.... Yukari-nee san" say Ren apologetically.

Arima who also hear Seigen, also retract his.

"Iyaaa, sorry about that. I'm too fired up because it's been a long time I met someone like Ren"

"Please forgive me for this, I just want to test him" say Arima apologizing to Yukari.

"Ah... no! No! It's okay, it was Ren's fault. Come on Ren apologize to them" urge Yukari

"I don't want to" refuse Ren

"WHAT?!" Say Yukari intimidatingly.

"I'm gonna apologize" say Ren.

Ren was scared more of Yukari, more so than Arima previous enchanted power pressure, and bloodlust.

If Arima's pressure is akin to standing naked in the middle of Antarctica, then Yukari's pressure is akin to standing naked in the middle of Antarctica plus there is a Mammoth that ready to stomp you to death.

Ren then approach Arima and apologize in dogeza position. Arima, Seigen, and Yukari shocked by Ren's apologize.

Arima who feels awkward, then tell Ren to stand up, and he also apologizes for testing him out.

After some talks, it is decided that Yukari and Ren would be living with and supervised by Seigen, and after Yukari research is done, they must leave the island immediately.

When Yukari pause her words, she saw that Ren very exhausted. He fell to his knee while breathing roughly. Not only that, sweats also begin droppings to the floor.

Ha... Ha... So that was The Leader of All Exorcist! So strong!!! From the beginning to the end he's still pressuring me!

That's right, even after Ren and Arima apologize to each other, and while talking to Seigen and Yukari. That Arima, he's secretly still sending pressures to Ren.

He- hahahaha! I can't win against him, don't I? But that is okay! Someday, I'm gonna surpass him! And become the strongest exorcist like- no! Even stronger than Abe no Seimei!

Ren's mouth showing a grin, he felt excited and happy to meeting while also tested by the leader of exorcist.

Ren then stand up, he told Yukari he is okay, and that he only needs a drink and little rest.

Yukari who worried about him quickly go searching for a drink, leaving Ren and Seigen alone.

Seigen's and Ren's eyes met and lock into each other, Ren's previous excited feeling, and grin is totally disappearing, leaving him with a feeling of spite his expression become sour.

This feeling again! Who is he? Is he perhaps?! No! I should... get more information

"Tch!" Seigen then get out from the room searching for Yukari, while Ren following him from behind.

Meanwhile,

Arima who is walking toward the meeting room, had frown eyebrows and sour expression.

That child! The vibes he gives.... is he really a normal mainland exorcist? ... I think not!

After the meeting is over, I should search more of his information!
