NO MORE THAN THEM

"Tobias, CALM DOWN, TOBIAS!!"

Tobias wakes up back to a familiar place, its night and cold, and he seems to be wearing his combat uniform. He moves his left arm which is holding his rifle and his right arm holding a bottle of rubbing alcohol. He looks at it confused, he then clicks his tongue and tastes alcohol. He kept clicking his tongue in order to confirm but the results are the same.

He gets up and sees the outside of the house being ravaged by something, soldiers calling out commands and firing at the 'things' that are attacking them. 'Wha-' He whispered under his breath, he peeked through the window blinds and sees nothing. Outside is chaos but the noises of screaming, running, and firing is gone. He looks around the street and sees nothing, a little more time and he realized where he is.

"Utica? wh-"

He sees the familiar building where he cooped himself up, he looks behind to see walls of sandbag and barbed wires across the street. He goes towards the house, because for some reason he wants to. He gets in front of the house and checks the interior to see if he can see anyone inhabiting it, but it was too dark. He walks back as he hears a knock coming from inside, he put his ears to the door and the knocking was louder and much more 'angry'.

Naturally he opens the door and sees another familiar man.

"Harry?"

"Yeah, look like... you've seen a ghost?"

"Harry"

"Tobias?"

"....."

He sees a man behind him approaching him and he was shot, his brother fell on to him and he fell towards the door as Tobias catches him in his arms. Now he is back at Sperryville, holding his dead brother with snow on his face.

"Snow"

Snow the symbol of hardships and loss. He touches the face of his dead brother, the warmth of his face slowly grew cold. He hugs his brother for as long as he can as he wails and wails. He wakes up back to Pierre, he looks around in utter confusion as to what happened. Oscar gets in and checks on him.

"What did I do?"

"You tried to kill yourself and I pushed you, you hit your head and you had a concussion, but not too bad that would give you a stroke"

"Rodrick?"

"Dead, we uhm.. we buried him by Harry's grave"

"Craig?"

"We left him for the GWN to take"

Tobias looked at his hands clean of blood and dirt unlike earlier, he put it up to his nose and smells the blood and gunpowder. He smelled his whole arm and asks about Zach.

"He's fine, we managed to bring him back before he lost too much blood"

"I killed the only one who- Bryce?"

"We, we buried both near Harry's grave don't worry..."

"I didn't even get to say a proper goodbye"

Men from the GWN has picked up Craig's lifeless corpse on the house, he just lies down there with no care at all from his murderers. The men picked his body up and they went back to the community.

The tall gates opened and people surrounds them, especially those who are closes to Craig who has worried about him. All of them surrounds the vehicle as the soldiers come out, they carry a stretcher where Craig is. Everyone knew immediately that was him, Niall sees it and rushes back to his house. He barges in their house and asked Lee to pack everything.

"What is it?"

"We need to get out of this place.. we need to head to Hearst"

"Why?"

"Something will be coming here to Marathon, and it will be fucking disastrous, get the k-"

"Niall"

Dylan came in to their house with a few of his men and they aimed their guns at him and his family.

"Dylan"

"You seem to be in distress, why?"

"Nothing"

"Heading, where?"

"Hearst"

"I thought you don't want to be there?"

"Well, maybe its not so bad there?"

"Take him away"

The men walked behind Niall and they marched towards the vehicle, the people surrounds them. They took him and his family over to Hearst as they wanted, Niall finally feels safe with his family, Elizabeth and Samantha were also asked to go with them. They drove for a several hours and finally arrived at the town. The people there live much more better than the other towns not worrying about working as they always get the fresh produce.

"We'll be safe here"

"Really dad?"

"Of course"

Lee and Niall shared a kiss as their kids sleep with them. Elizabeth can only look at them with a little bit of jealousy, which washed away as she sweeps Samantha's hair off of snow. She kissed her cheeks, leaned back and took a rest. Niall looks with guilt over at Elizabeth, unbeknownst to her he is the reason why her daughter is dead. They arrived at Hearst and everything is strict, checking their bags and their teeth in case of symptoms for the 'Decay', they gave the virus a name.

Dylan goes back to Mackinaw in order to check if everything is in order and their investigation has bore any fruit, so far nothing. Dylan goes to the city hall where he can have full surveillance of the area, and full control over the radios. Men would check time to time from different villages that they have taken over and all signals are received by Mackinaw.

*Poor bastard don't you think Dylan?*

"Hmm? Who said that?"

The soldiers pointed and looked at each other seemingly confused.

*Over here doc, nice to see you*

Tobias talks to them through the radio.

*A bit fucked up don't you think what we did*

"Who is this?"

Suddenly the men behind him were shot dead and he sounded the alarm, he tried to contact Hearst but their signals weren't being received. Different radios with labels are put on the city hall, if it receives signals it would blink red, but this none. Their signal has been cut off. The whole city went into a panic as more men were killed. A finally shots were fired into the air, the gates' locks were unlocked and several heavy armored trucks came in and all of the people were surrounded.

"Hey doc"

Tobias punched the old man directly on the head knocking him out.

"Right, we'll take over this city, send the signal to Marathon and start their invasion"

"Will you kill all of us"

Tobias aimed the gun directly into the man's head.

"If you try to kill us, then sure"

"Tobias, that's enough... they are already, we don't want a revolt do we?"

"hmmm"

"Come on, if you kill an innocent man you'll be no more than them"

"Well, you guys have a ch-"

They hear clicking behind their heads, a shotgun and a revolver. Tobias and Oscar stood there, they can hear footsteps walking up behind them, the 2 looked at each other and nodded. As they turn around they were already subdued by Foxtrot and Delta.

"Come on guys, they could have killed you"

"Sure you guys were there"

The 4 took their helmets off and they see the people who tried to kill them.

"Twins?"

"Tobias"
