Chapter 82

I knew this was the time to act, and so with a simple command, one of the explosion devices near the zero charging enemy exploded, causing the hollow to suffer a backlash due to his attack being cancelled forcefully.

The hollow charging at me was distracted for a moment, I used instant move and appeared besides it, slashing at its neck.

As I did so, its exposed neck grew scales and covered the attack, I dodged the incoming strike and took a bit of a distance.

"Hghggggg! you will pay for this, you puny human!" it shrieked with the intensity of a banshee as it grew scales on its bleeding neck and charged at me.

My chaos energy was able to effect him, though it seems it will take more than a simple cut to kill it, not to mention the other hollow that's lurking Iniside the shimmering sand, waiting for a moment to strike.

I snapped my fingers as the hollow charged at me, the binding traps close to it were triggered, sending out strands of metallic wires that were able to hinder the movement of the hollow for a moment.

But a moment is all that's needed to win a battle, or to injure your opponent in a battle. I ran towards the hollow as it got rid of the traps and gave a strike that it tried to blocks by using it's scythe like arms by making an X pattern.

*Clangg*

The hollow was pushed back by my attack as I kept applying more and more pressure.

*Trrrrrr*

The sound of our weapons colliding filled the placed , the everblade once again showed its might as the chaos energy spread from the blade and into the body of the hollow who shrieked in pain as it tried to push me away.

I was keeping an eye on the small snake badtard that was hiding in the sand, waiting for a moment to strike, and as he did so, I didn't stop him and kept fighting the other hollow.

I could feel the sneaky bastards sharp scythe like arms moving closer and closer to my back.

Just as the sneaky bastard thought he had obtained victory,

*Clang*

The sound of his scythe like arm striking the back of my armor rang out, not hearing the expected sound of flesh tearing apart, the hollow retreated back into the sand.

I wasn't too worried about that as I knew the hidden effects of my armor had taken effect as a moment later a fountain of blood oozed out of the sand, accompanied by a shriek.

As well as dark black flames sprouted on the ground.

It seems that hollow is having a really bad day, isn't it?

The hollow that was exchanging strikes with me was puzzled by what happened to their joint attack but quickly organized itself before it also retreated a few steps, allowing me to take a few breaths.

It pointed its scythe at me in an accusatory manner as it growled out,

"You...you are weird," it said.

"Says that hollow that looks like a scythe wearing half deer half man." I kicked the ground beneath me as my would force seeped into it, constructs that looked like spikes rushed towards the hollow as it easily dodged my attacks.

"Hmph! This won't be enough to kill me," it replied in a mocking manner.

"I know, but I am not so sure about your brother, or whatever he is to you," I said in a carefree manner as I stomped on the ground once again as several more spikes rushed into the ground.

"Damn it!! I will kill you," I growled as it rushed at me, ignoring the spikes, though I already knew he wasn't injured enough to get hurt, the same couldn't be said for his breather who was just a few breaths away from death.

My chaotic energy was wreaking havoc in his body as we both fought.

I activated the extra function of y suppression ability and in the next moment, my body exploded with unbelievable strength and soul force, as it even sent the hollow flying afar.

I had used suppression to kill the extremely weakened hollow down in the sand.

[Ding! Killed Adjuchas level hollow, Soul force increased by huge margins ]

"That's one damn nice skill, now I can further enhance my hunting capability by just tagging all the Gillian's while I sit down and then go and hunt them, I don't have to concentrate while I am looking for them anymore," I couldn't help but admire the new skill.

So much so that I completely forgot the other hollow that was suddenly deathly still as it looked fixatedly at one place on the ground, particularly where I had killed the other hollow.
