chapter 25: The Lunar knight part 1

After Asta removed the spell casted on the children, everyone take a sigh of relief.

Watching the children out of the spell Sister Theresa casted his flame recovery magic and many candles appeared around the children and started to heal them.

After that Sister Theresa glanced at Asta and asked.

Sister Theresa: Asta...! You and Rowan grew up in the Hage correct?

Asta: Huh!? How did you know?

Sister Theresa: Sister Lily from your church came to our church came to our to train once. She was fine young woman.

After hearing her Asta's eyes started to sparkling.

Asta: ISN'T SHE!

Sister Theresa: We had a chance to talk for the first time in ages, an she told me about you to two.

Asta: The Sister talked about me!? what did she say!?

Sister Theresa: That you were a small, noisy child.

Hearing her words Asta seems to turned into stone.

Sister Theresa: But... She also said you were hard working with strong heart who wouldn't give up in face of adversity... And that she was vert proud of you.

Then she turned and looked at Rowan, who's standing beside some children.

Sister Theresa: She spoke very highly of him... she said he is very dependable person that would do whatever it takes to achieve their goal... someone that would sacrifice himself and put others in front of him, she does wish he could take care of himself more though, and to stop being stubborn and ask for help when needed.

suddenly Gauche kicked Neige hard on the face as he flew in front of Sister Theresa.

Sister Theresa: Gauche, stop that! He can't fight anymore!

Gauche: He hurt Marie, the only way to atone for that is death!

Marie: Gauche! I'm okay, Sister Theresa healed my injuries too.. so please forgive him.

Gauche: No. I can't, I'm eliminating anyone who might hurt you right now.

Sister Theresa: Except for this we have to get them do tell us how to return the children's magic!

Gauche puts his foot on top of Neige's head as Sister Theresa continued asking questions.

Sister Theresa: You two... why did you do this??

Neige started to cry.

Neige: I just wanted friends. that's all it hurts... what should I do? Brother Baro...

Asta: Hurry and tell us how to put the magic back!

A portal then opened above them. A girl with messy hair and red framed glasses appeared.

Asta: Huh??

Baro's: You're here, huh!? If you can travel with spatial magic, you sure took your sweet time! they shut down our magic collection! help us!

Sally: Gosh, you're whiny and loud. I'll give you pat on the back this time though!

Rowan: Great...

Sally: Rowan! And is that... Asta! I can't believe the both of you are here!

Gauche: Reinforcements? then die.

Gathering his mana together on one of his mirror, Gauche unleashed the full power of his spell.

Gauche: [Mirror Magic: Reflect Refrain]

Sally: Hehe, [Gel Magic: Sticky Salamander]

opening her grimoire, She created a frog loking creature composed of nothing but gel.

Sinkin herself inside the gel monster, the light beem bent once they passed through the gel.

Sally: Would you not interrupt our moving reunion!? while I'm at it... Maybe I'll dissect everybody.

Sally then pulled out a device that made a vibration noise and had a red light blinking. Likely the device that notified the user of some one being in trouble.

Sally: What's this!? I came because you called me with transmission item, but you haven't collected much magic, have you? well, not that it matters anymore.

Baro: These guys got in our way! Get rid of them!

Sister Theresa: 'What's this ominous magic!?' The Eye of the Midnight Sun! terrorists, who attacked the capital!? So they're involved with this! She blocked Gauche's magic so easily.

Asta: Granny, Gauche! Be careful! She blocked the silver team Captain's attack too!

Sally: Here I come!

Sally, riding the Salamander, charged at The four of them.

Gauche: What about this one[Mirror Magic: Reflect Refrain]

A number of beems were fired toward Sally and her Salamander. Sally hid insisted the Salamander to protect herself from the attack. the Salamander managed to absorb the beems, the were warped inside it.

Sally: That's some fine magic, but it get refracted inside the mr. Salamander, so there's no much point. If it were more powerful magic, thing could me different... right?

Sally shout a blob of goo toward Rowan. He Tried to slice the blob with his sword, but it managed to split into more pieces and grab hold of him. the goo flung him toward Sally, she pinned him to the ground and was on top of him.

Sally: Gotha!

she licked his neck bit him.

Sally: Wow... Your blood is so sweet...

Rowan: WHAT THE HELL! LET ME GO!

Sister Theresa: [Flame Magic: Brilliant Flame Cross]

Sister Theresa managed to get in between Sally and Rowan. Her attack managed to destroy Sally's Salamander.

Sister Theresa: That's enough of that! I won't give you this boy.

Sally: Oh wow... You melted Mr. Salamander.

Rowan: I... didn't expected that!

Sister Theresa: I may be old but I'm former Magic Knight! Theresa, "The Crimson She Leopord" that's me!

Asta: She's all pumped up now..! wait... Crimson.. does that mean you know Captain Fuegoleon!?

Sister Theresa: Fuego... oh, Fueggy, yes! When I served at the place he was a snot-nosed brat but he grew up well!

Rowan: But the condition of captain Fuegoleon's right now-

Sister Theresa: Yes.. I know, we won't fail... we'll catch this one!

Sally: Four against one, huh!? this doesn't look good.

Baro: Hey, you! I'll back you up with my awesome mud magic... so heal my body so I can move! You can do that, right?

Sally: I'll do it, then, But... You're sure?

Baro: Yeah!

Sally: Really sure?

Baro: I said it's fine! Just shut up and do it!

Sally: Okey-Dokey. In that case...

Sally pulled out a large syringe and put the needle into Baro's neck. Whatever was in the syringe started to transform Baro. Mud started to leak from his eyes and his mouth until he completely changed to a creature made from mud.

Sister Theresa: What is that!?

Rowan: Whatever it is, it's increasing his magic.

Sally: Whoopsie! I messed up a little! He can move now, and his magic is recharged... But his personality wandered off somewhere.

Kids: AAAAAAH! IT'SA MONSTER!

Rowan: Asta... get the kid out.. I'll deal with this.

Asta: What! You can't deal with something that bi-

Rowan: I got this, Asta!

He turned away to look at the mud monster.

Rowan: The kids will need you to protect them from attacks that I can't block.

Clenching his fist, Asta grit his teeth and looked down before turning his back on Rowan.

Asta: OK!... don't die!

Rowan just smirked a little.

Mud monster: D..ie...

pointing his sword at the giant monster, the glow around Rowan's sword turned dark purple as some words started to appear on his sword.

Rowan: Sorry but there's no way I'm going to die at the place like this.

He grabbed his sword more tightly and raised his sword in the air.

Rowan: Chek my new trick....
