Under the horrified eyes of Alric, his body was enveloped in a black flame as it disappeared from existence.

"But not everything went according to plan…." Julian looked at the tree with disappointment.

"I never imagined that I will only have one kin alive…..

Maybe this is my punishment..."

He walked ahead and sat under the tree as a screen popped in front of him.

"So his imagination created a System.

It was a famous fictional ability in his world that I saw in his world before reincarnating him in this world.

I originally designed a seal that would slowly unlock his true potential in a way that he is aware of the powers he is receiving based on his imagination.

And his imagination certainly does not disappoint. "

He looked at his hands which had started to turn blurry.

"You must get stronger fast Julian…..strong enough to face the upcoming calamity.

Back in the outside world:

The tree that bound Julian completely disappeared as he stood up from his place.

A threatening aura gushed out of his body as the pattern in his eyes slowly changed to something else.

Secre could not utter a word as she felt like she would be dead if she muttered even a single word.

This feeling was entirely different from mana pressure….something even more terrifying.

With his indifferent eyes, Julian looked at Alric rushing towards him at full speed with light magic after half of his soul was wiped out.

The pattern in Julian's eyes rotated as a black skeletal figure appeared around him.

A black sword enveloped in Black Flames appeared in his hand.

[Abyssal Flame Magic: Slash of chaos]

Swosh!....

A black slash emerged from the sword that divided Alric in half followed by the two half completely disappearing after burning in the black flame.

Alric's Grimoire came towards him and got absorbed into Julian's Grimoire.

Nacht and Kirin both felt the change in Julian so didn't approach him for fear of getting sliced off.

Nacht after fighting Alric for a while knew that his strength was even more than a captain.

It took him and the lightning spirit together to keep that guy from leaving.

Although Nacht didn't use his ace, Alric was a terrifying opponent.

And Julian was able to one-shot such a powerhouse and made Nacht question his eyes for a moment.

The threatening aura from Julian disappeared as the pattern in his eyes retired to normal.

"Phew! The headache and the voices in my head are finally gone"

Julian rubbed his eyes as they were sore.

The last thing he remembered was getting trapped by Alric and the next thing he knew his body moved on its own and used an overpowered move.

'I am pretty sure my Sharingan evolved into Mangekyou Sharingan for a few seconds but I can't seem to activate that power again.

I used Susanoo and Black Abyssal Flames which felt like the next stage of my law evolution.'

"Well guys, I am ba-" he didn't get to finish as he was tackled to the ground by Kirin and Secre.

"Why the fuck do you always get yourself into trouble !" Kirin punched Julian's face making his nose bleed.

"I-I thought I lost you !!" Secre cried out while using Sealing Magic to stop the wound forgetting about Julian's regeneration power.

She lightly hugged him not letting him move.

"It's not my fault that trouble never leaves me alone" Julian replied with a smile.

"If you can make such terrible jokes, you must be fine.

We must leave this place now, I don't wish to stay a single minute here anymore "Kirin said.

Julian had a lot of questions like why doesn't he feel his connection with Kirin anymore or why Secre is in her human form but he decided to ask later.

While the trio was thinking about a way to get out, Nacht went to the topmost space and took all the books to present there into his shadow.

"The Dungeon is falling apart without the master.

My power seems to be working again.

If you three are done talking, I am leaving this space with my ability. " Nacht said appearing beside them.

"I will leave you all alone if you take too much time," Nacht said with a smile.

'Shut up Gimodelo'

"Wait, you selfish bastard !!" Kirin screamed.

Everyone appeared outside the dungeon into the mines from where their journey began.

"How long were we all in the dungeon again ?" Kirin asked.

"A little more than a week. Why are you asking ?" Secre answered.

"Might sound unbelievable but only five days have passed in the outside world " Kirin said.

This surprised Julian a bit as it never happened in a dungeon. But considering how insane Alric was, it was believable that he could manipulate time in his dungeon too.

"Now where did that shadow bastard go?" Kirin said looking around.

"He must have left after teleporting us. Sigh! Not even a goodbye"

This made Kirin even angrier but he took a deep breath a calmed down.

"So, how care to explain everything that happened ?" Julian asked looking at Secre and Kirin.

"About that….ask that miss right there, " Kirin said before falling to the ground like a sack of potatoes and immediately falling asleep.

With a poof! sound, Secre's human form returned back to the bird form.

"Oh come on!" Julian clicked his tongue seeing that.

"Don't worry, I haven't lost my speech yet " Secre replied relieving Julian a bit.

"Well, at least something is not lost. Now can you tell me how did you get into your human form and why is Kirin sleeping on the ground like a log?"

"I had told you the entire story of how I became a bird right in the dungeon. All things that happened are related to that.

I used forbidden magic to seal the Devil which made me face the first backlash of giving me horns.

Then I used another forbidden magic using the Magic stones as a catalyst that would let my master Lumiere live by sharing life force with each other.

This is a forbidden magic that would allow two people linked by this forbidden magic seal to transfer life force to each other no matter how much the distance is.

But when one of the people linked by the seal dies, the other one dies too.

This made me suffer the second backlash turning me into a bird.

This is when the second spell took effect turning him into a stone after which my memory is black as I must have become a stone too only to wake up when you were in the Church.

Normally there is only one way to break the seal which is to collect all the magic stones which I used as catalysts.

Since Kirin has experience in forbidden magic, he found a back door in the sealing magic to add himself to the equation for a short period of time so instead of me and my master, it was me and him who got connected.

Doing this made Kirin's contract with you void which was a downside.

Since the duration of the spell expired, I am back in my bird form. Although I don't know why I still retain my voice.

The reason why Kirin is sleeping now is that he used another forbidden spell to boost his power for a short moment. "

This made everything clear to Julian.

"What about you? Kirin said that Alric was trying to take over your body?" Secre asked as she sat on Julian's shoulder.

Julian created a big bird of fire and began flying toward the house of Reina.

"I don't have any discomfort but I gained a lot of unexpected power-ups. Moreover, I seem to have gained more control over forbidden magic."

Julian opened his Grimoire to see multiple spells of light magic, dark magic, world tree magic, and sealing magic.

"I think I got the power of multiple magic types. "

He opened his palm as a small ball of light, darkness, a flower and a purple ball appeared on top of three of his fingers.

"I don't think I will be able to use Dark, Light, and World Tree Magic.

I feel like I am missing something which is not allowing me to access them"

Obtaining so many magic types gave Julian a huge motivation to improve. Since he could manifest them, with enough practice he could use them too.

"But I think I might be able to use Sealing Magic. Let me check "

Julian opened the Sealing Magic section of his Grimoire and looked through the spells that were available.

Almost all of the spells were supportive spells and would help a lot if he could master them.

Currently Julian had access to only Storage Seal and Foribeen Life Share Seal. As the Grimoire was linked to his soul, he knew about the two spells in detail as if he has practiced them for years which had never happened before.

'Seems like Alric's experience regarding the spell has transferred to me as well'

Julian pointed his finger at his Grimoire and chanted the first spell.

[Sealing Magic: Storage Seal ]

A purple layer of mana enveloped his Grimoire as it started to shrink in size and attached to Julian's arm forming a pattern.

'Well that's useful'

Secre was shocked to see Julian use Sealing Magic.

"If you are worried that I would steal away your spotlight, don't think about it. It will take me a long time before I can call myself a sealing magic user" Julian said looking at Secre's expression.

"I am not worried about that...I am just shocked" Secre said.

Secre was not worried about Julian learning more about Sealing Magic than her. It would be better if that happened as it would save his life.

Julian has only touched Sealing Magic for the first time while Secre has a Grimoire full of Spells

That includes the ones he has.

Secre decided to guide Julian in Sealing Magic once she regains her human form.

"Hey Secre, this is the spell that turned you into a stone right? I am using it "

"Wait ! Don-"

Secre could not complete her words before Julian used the spell on both of them.

[Forbidden Magic: Life Sharing Seal ]

A large portion of Julian's mana got converted into corrupted mana enveloped both him and Secre.

His Sharingan rotated completely canceling out the backlash that he might receive from the spell.

Julian felt a connection form between him and Secre as with a poof of smoke, Secre turned back to her human form.

As he had received Alric's experience from the Seal, he made sure to only connect him and Secre without disturbing the other seal on her. Since he has control over the spell, he could cancel it once all the magic stones are collected.

Secre looked at her body but instead of thanking Julian, she hugged him from the back.

"Are you out of your mind?

Why did you use that spell?

What if something happens to me? You will have to suffer too…..If something happens to you because of me….I wouldn't be able to forgive myself " Secre's voice cracked as he hugged more tightly.

"I am got going to wait till I get all the magic stones to get you back to your original form.

Moreover, I am strong you know.

I will protect you and wouldn't let anything happen to you…..you are someone precious to me after all"

Secre went quiet and wiped her tears and stayed in that position hugging him from behind.

The entire capital was surrounded by dark clouds with the occasional sound of thunder crackling.

In the throne room of the Royal Castle, a man with very short messy black hair sat with his eyes closed.

He had a pattern on his head which looked like a Black Sun.

Beside him floated a Grimoire which seemed to be a combination of Grimoires of all four nations.

The man opened his eyes slowly as a smile surfaced on his face.

'Alric has died...

I was about to kill him myself and harvest the benefits but it seems I have to put in some extra effort now '

"Ne~Ne Lucius ni ! don't you have any mission for me? My hands were itching for battle." a woman with a spade pattern eye patch said to the man on the throne.

"Go fight with Zenon, don't let his mind weaver"

"Eh! I did that yesterday!

I want to do something interesting ~"

"Are you opposing me Vanica ?" the man said as pressure erupted from him suffocating the woman.
