7 Chapter 7: Reus Past!

This chapter will review the past of Reus.

On the edge of a crowded city street, a very thin child is seen and his clothes are very dirty. he had disheveled short black hair and his face was filled with mud splattered from the rain he received when many cars passed by.

He really did not know what to do and he was also resigned to his current situation. he wanted to die, but there was always something that prevented him from committing suicide. and when he falls asleep, he always has a dream that resembles the documentation of someone he does not know.

Slowly but surely, he finally realized that his memories of important things on earth slowly disappeared. he was very scared to go to sleep, because he did not want to lose his memory. he asked himself why God did not immediately take his life and release him from this torture of losing his memory.

Now he is fifteen years old and he has a question to himself why he managed to survive all this time. in the early days he lost his family, sometimes a man dressed like an old butler came to give him food.

The old man was named Sebastian and he was a Butler from a distinguished family who had the assets of almost every large company in the entire earth. he was very surprised when 'Sebas' (he told him to call him that) told me his identity. he asked why bother helping him. Sebas answered, because he reminded Sebas of his master's past. hearing this he had not laughed for a long time, started laughing and ended up coughing up blood due to lack of water.

After that Sebas came to visit him a few months and talked about his master, Sebas also always brought him food. when Sebas talked about his master Sebas always talked a lot of things that always made him laugh. he really enjoyed the story that was told by Sebas and hoped to hear the rest.

A few months went by, until several years passed, Sebas and sometimes a friendly girl (Limuru) who was almost the same age as him visited him, which made his life a little happy. he still has fears about every time he falls asleep. he also did not want to tell Sebas and Limuru about his condition. because he doesn't want to bother both of them.

The first meeting with Limu (she told him to call her that) was when he was twelve years old and he was looking for leftovers from restaurants around his neighborhood. at that time he was sorting through every trash can behind the restaurant he used to look for food. he spent almost half an hour and did not realize that there was someone who was behind him. after that he was shocked by the little girl and his body almost went into the trash if it was not held by the little girl's hands.

After that the little girl apologized for surprising him, she asked why he was looking for food in the trash. he answered, because if he didn't look in the trash, he would starve. the little girl was confused by the answer she heard, but she became curious about his life. so the little girl introduced herself and told him to call her 'Limu'.

Limu asked what his name was. he replied: he did not remember his name, and he also began to not remember his family name. after hearing that Limu decided to give him a name. Limu gave the name 'Reus' but she said 'Leus' which made Reus laugh out loud.

Limu who heard Reus laughed, she started to get angry and beat Reus's body with her small hand. after that Reus received his new name and his relationship with Sebas and Limu improved.

Limu introduced Reus about anime and manga, while Sebas introduced Reus about novels and classic literature. Reus really likes it when both of them bring copies of classic literature, novels, manga and Limu sometimes lends her smartphone to Reus to watch anime or read webnovel.

Limu and Sebas also decided to celebrate Reus's birthday when he first had the name given by Limu. both of them invited Reus to go to a five star hotel (owned by Limu's second parents, who is also Sebas's master) and ordered a lot of food to celebrate Reus's birthday. Reus was initially afraid to embarrass both of them but Limu and Sebas forced him and always said 'We are a family, so don't reject it' after that Reus gladly accepted it.

And almost every year Reus always eats delicious food in the same place together with Sebas and Limu. Reus also enjoys time with both of them, but his fear still haunts him. he tried not to fall asleep by reading a lot of manga, novels and classical literature left by Sebas and Limu.

Until finally he became an otaku, although only a few great works he knew, for example Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Fairy Tail, Ultimate Scheming System, The Strongest System, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the one that made he is very interested in it is One Punch-man. although it is still a new work, but he is very interested in the protagonist who has a misfortune similar to him, the difference is that he is too strong and Reus is too afraid of losing his memory. every time Reus saw the reaction when the bald robed man defeated his enemy with just one punch, he always laughed out loud like crazy.

After finishing reading almost all the works left by Sebas and Limu. Reus returned to his normal life and went looking for food scraps in the trash. Reus actually already realized that he would not live long because he always ate the food in the trash, but he did not care about it and if death was able to free him from his fears, then he would rather choose to die.

Reus is currently fifteen years old, and in a few months he has not yet met Sebas and Limu. he also felt that his body was getting weaker and he predicted that his age would soon end. especially if Reus is currently cold because of a sudden snowstorm, he will usually go to the park and find shelter. but because he predicted the weather wrongly, he finally ended up at the place where his parents left him (in other words his original parents Valendio Grantz and Chiaki Midori / Aurossa disappeared from his memory and Reus only remembers his fake family made by Valendio Grantz).

Seeing that place, Reus cried, but his tears froze because of the extreme cold. The clothes worn by Reus could not withstand the cold to enter his body and he thought that this might be the time to go. he was only regret that he had not met his two friends (Limu and Sebas) for the last time.

Slowly but surely Reus finally breathed his last in a place where his parents left him.

The curse that Reus / Linos received was that he would lose his memories of his original parents / his original 'big' family and he would never be able to meet them again, he would also have a short life, his life would be filled with misfortune, when he wanted to kill himself then he will always be held back by Lijuberge's destiny book, his power which has the potential to surpass Valen as the God of All will also disappear entirely.

The way to remove the curse is to die in a frozen mortal body (His body will become hot / Energy {Yang/Ki} will return to him / His age and luck will be like a normal human being but can develop when he becomes stronger / the more {Mana} he has).

Having a pure soul (Some of its power will be freed and the original race will be manifested in the body of his second life).

Able to withstand the torture given by Lijuberge's destiny book (while sleeping he will not lose his memory of his family and friends on earth {he still cannot remember the names of his parents and extended family, he only remembers Sebas and Limu, even though Valen and Chiaki had introduced themself in the previous chapter, he still considered both of them as strangers who gave him the system}).

Survive for a thousand years in the next life (Lijuberge's destiny book will erase its name and the curse will be released).

After reading the way to remove the curse, Lijuberge's destiny book appeared again with the name Reus covered before it. Lijuberge's destiny book automatically began to refill the finished sheet with the story of Reus in the World of Black Clover. wasting no time Valen and Aurossa injected his/her strength into the story of Reus and Aurossa gave the message (System) that Reus would receive when he was five years old, Valen also included his Telepathic skills in the book, even though it was limited to one minute, that was enough to communicate with his child.

After finishing changing a bit about Lijuberge's destiny book the two weakened to each other and it took a thousand years to recover. however both of them had smiles on their faces and despite having to recover their strength, neither of them dared to oppose him, because no one was stronger than Valen than Leijux Xaranta (Calamity God) who was defeated thanks to the help of the former God of Creation.
