Chapter 2

Walking down the hallway I carefully keep my ears and eyes open to hear if anyone was coming. 'No one's here, then were are they.' I thought peeking around a corner. 'Hmm, an open window purrfect' I thought heading toward it " CAT!!" shouted a voice happily whipping my head toward the sound it seemed time had slowed down. To my right was the guy that smelled of sulfur and ash. Standing next to him a young boy in an aristocratic suit with a cane. A young girl with straight waist length hair and a puffy dress was clinging to the young boy. And finally the source of the voice a little girl in a sundress running straight toward me. Unknown to me at that time, I had went from the servants quarters to the main floor where the people of the house were gathered. ' Come on seriously, ' I thought crouching down. Arching my back I hissed at the girl; seeing the girl faultier and slow I ran for the window evening my stride I pushed off my hind legs and jumped onto the window seal looking back I see them all looking at me ,everyone but the demon, 'where did he go, no time for that now I must call mist' I thought jumping out the window landing on a pebbled walkway. I saw I was in a garden with flowers of beautiful colors and to one side a beautiful sand garden with the bluest and purple streaked lotus flowers I've ever seen. 'I'll admire the scenery later' I thought heading down the path looking for a secluded area. Giving up I headed to the forest. after a short jog' this should be far enough' I thought looking back and not seeing the house. Sitting on my haunches rolling back my head i did my call " Meow mew, mew meow mew" " I'm on my way" was the answer. Looking around I tried to find a safe spot for me to wait for her until she arrived spotting a tree I jumped onto a low hanging branch and climbed until I could see down but not easily seen. I then sat down and waited for Black.
