I looked around the office and noticed a tall dark oakwood desk in front of us with a man sitting behind it. There were bookshelves covering all inches of the walls with books of all kinds surrounding us.

Seated behind the desk was a man looking down at what seemed to be paperwork in front of him, his dark brown hair messy and slightly falling in his face. He had very strong and distinct facial features like a sharp and prominent nose. He had a strong jaw with light stubble around it and his upper lip.

How desperately did I want him to look up and stare into my eyes so I could see the type of mate the Moon Goddess has cursed me with this time.

/"Alpha I caught this maggot near our territory and she claims she's a rogue from a destroyed pack nearby,/" The wolf explained.

/"Kill her, I don't allow rogues in my territory,/" He said coldly, not even bothering to look up at me.

/"Yes my Alpha,/"

/"Wait!/" I shouted out.
