Ava POV

I felt something soft and warm peppering the mark around my neck and I couldn't help but moan softly. Mating under the full moon allowed for the marks of Nicholas and Taylor to fade away and allowed for one another to rightfully mark under the full Moon, something the Moon Goddess predicted for I expected.

I heard a soft chuckle behind me and I knew it was Derek.

/"I know you're up,/" He said as he began rubbing my arm. I kept my eyes closed and pretended to sleep but truthfully I was wide awake.

/"Ava I can hear your thoughts, I know you're not sleeping,/" He chuckled.

Damn it, I wasn't used to this mate connection.

I heard that.

I groaned as I buried my face into the pillow.

/"I don't want to get up. The others will lecture me about what happened last night,/" I groaned.
