Destiny Divided

As the seed of Galaxy Green's La Grange planted itself in Jordan's soul, the world seemed to take on a black-and-white color in his eyes. It was as if all the color in the world was being sucked toward Drid. A torrent of blue light flushed out of his soul as the seed greedily spread its roots.

A flower began to grow out of the top of Jordan's head and a bud at the top was about to bloom completely.

But that's when everything suddenly changed.

Drid's confidence changed into confusion as the surroundings began to crack, like a glass painting. And behind the cracks, there was an image that was familiar to Drid which he recognized from 60 years ago.

"No, it isn't supposed to be like this! What have you done, woman?!" Drid screamed as his face showed flashes of rage.

"Negat-" Drid started, but he was cut off as a weakened punch hit him across his jaw.

He staggered back, his eyes wide as he looked at Jordan's figure in a punching position. His eyes were dull, but he still hit him. It should have been impossible.

"Impossible-" Drid muttered.

The cracks in the surroundings grow larger, until finally, the familiar visage of the woman who had held her dead grandpa more than 60 years ago appeared as a ghost in front of his eyes. behind her was a cross-shaped humanoid stand with an arc above its head.

"SITS, Welcome to the Jungle!" The woman screamed with madness and hatred in her eyes, while she stared at Drid.

"False Destiny!" The woman chanted and the world seemed to shatter, before recombining together. 

The woman withered at the speed of the naked eye and dried out completely, turning into a mummy. But she died with a look of satisfaction on her face at seemingly completing her revenge.

When the glass of the world finished healing, the positions of Drid and Jordan were reversed. Drid looked down in horror to see that somehow, there was a seed from La Grange in his own soul and red light surged out toward Jordan. Jordan regained color on his face as each second passed.

"NO! I REFUSE TO DIE LIKE THIS." Drid screamed madly and his powerful soul resisted against the seed in his soul with all his might.

*PUNCH*

Drid staggered back from a punch again, as Jordan approached him with his strength constantly rising. He kept trying to focus on pushing against the seed that taking his own strength, but Jordan continued to assault him with attacks.

"HIGH HOPES!" Jordan yelled, and his stand appeared looking a bit angry, if that were possible.

"Galaxy Green, Stop him!" Drid ordered while he focused on slowing down the drain on his soul.

He was making progress and the seed in his soul was weakening bit by bit, but as time went on he felt the strength of his soul was also decreasing. He couldn't afford to think about anything else at the crucial moments of his survival.

Galaxy Green easily defended from High Hopes attacks due to it being as durable and as hard as the strongest metals on earth. Which gave him enough time to finally crack the seed and dissolve the spiritual seed of La Grange in his soul. He breathed in relief as his heart rate calmed down before he began to laugh.

"ha ha haha hahaha! Who would have thought, she had a similar stand." Drid laughed.

"I should have killed her myself. Hahaha!" Drid laughed loudly, seemingly having a great time.

Then he took a moment to assess himself before he took a look at JOJO across from him, and his eyes shrunk to the size of pinneedles. He took a quick glance at the crown on Galaxy Green's head and noted that only 4 planets remained there. One of which, was the ability of High Hopes along with 3 of his important abilities. His eyes narrowed as he appraised JOJO's stand across from him, which was now the size of a regular human.

He knew he had lost about 50% of his strength from that woman's move.

Jordan never felt stronger than he had at this moment. It was a bit blurry for him, but he vaguely recalled a woman appearing and things changed after that. He didn't know her motives, but he knew she saved his life. Not only that, High Hopes had been strengthed beyond what was usually possible for a stand.

The four empty sockets in its chest were now filled with 4 different gems; ruby, sapphire, topaz, and an emerald. It was now the same size as him and it looked sturdier in almost all aspects. His own body was filled with strength and vitality that he could have never imagined possible. 

He positioned himself warily across from the man named Drid, while he mentally commanded High Hopes to use 'House of Memories'.

They can help to circulate oxygen in the body, make cells heal any sort of wounds, or fight off disease. They can even rejuvenate their cells, thus preventing them from growing old and reaching the hayflick limit. (Limited by understanding of biology)
