Two days later, a somewhat handsome young man, dressed in simple attire, approached the gates of the Alson mansion in Cliffmoon City.

"Stop right there! State your name and purpose!" one of the guards demanded, their stern gaze locking onto him. But the youth was quick to respond, calm and collected.

"I'm Daine Holt, I came here to meet Kadenn Langley." His tone was casual as he handed over the letter Kadenn had sent him. "He'll recognize me if you show him this."

The guards exchanged a glance, still a little suspicious, but the letter seemed genuine enough. And given that the visitor was young and carried the air of strength similar to Kadenn, they concluded that he could truly be Kadenn's associate.. 

"Alright then, please wait here, sir." One of the guards responded, more politely this time, and hurried off with the letter, leaving the youth standing by the gate.
