The demon's army quickly closed the distance disregarding any strategy whatsoever, but thanks to Kadden's warning, the human army had enough time to prepare. Or at least they thought so, until a pillar of darkness descended upon their camp. 

The demon army swiftly closed the distance, showing no regard for strategy. However, thanks to Kadden's timely warning, the human forces had ample time to prepare.

Or so they thought.

Suddenly, a pillar of darkness descended upon their camp, and an explosion of darkness enveloped the center, instantly killing thousands.

What happened? Kadden was horrified at the sight. Despite him and Shadow being at full guard, they failed to detect the intruder.

"Humans! How dare you try to defy your fate?" A three-meter-tall demon emerged from the pillar of darkness, hovering above the camp as if he was a god.
