FIGHT!

"Death?!" Lemon and the twins asked immediately, surprised out of their minds.

Urian chuckled, a gradual chuckle that turned to a big laugh. Silvia shook her head, rubbing her nose bridge as she tried to hold back her own laughter.

"Chill kids, I was just playing," he replied, calming them down.

Silvia's laughter finally came out. She looked at her husband and he joined her, resuming his laughter.

"Did you see the look on their faces?" She asked.

He nodded, then they started mimicking the looks the girls had on their faces. I raised an eyebrow, letting go of Lemon's hand and sliding my hands into my pockets.

"So, no fighting to the death then?" I asked.

"Oh jeez, no," Silvia replied, trying to stop her laughter. "Guardians do not fight themselves, we challenge each other."

"So…."

"We're challenging you to a fight you dimwit!" Urian replied, facepalming.

"Ooh…" I replied, nodding my head slowly, my hands on my waist as I looked down with a click of my tongue.

Lemon shook her head, chuckling a little because she knew that I was acting clueless on purpose. To be honest, I was exhausted, and getting into an unnecessary fight just to see who was stronger was not my idea of fun. I politely declined.

"You can't decline," Urian said.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Haven't you been listening to half the things we've been saying?" He asked in reply.

"According to the book of Artata—"

"Screw the book of Artatara," I interrupted Silvia. "I, we, just fought the Null Standing, and buried tens of dead bodies, I am exhausted and can not fight this petty fight."

Silvia gasped. "Petty fight, how dare you?"

"Oh I dare, I dare boldly," I replied.

"Even if you were to fight," Lemon butted in. "Where would you do it? Here, with civilians around?"

"We can do it outside," Urian replied.

"There are civilians outside too!" She replied.

"There's a clearing, close to the waterfall," Fegor added.

"Yeah, you could do it there," her sister said excitedly.

I groaned, rubbing my nose bridge.

"There's not going to be a fight!"

"Just one fight, one itty bitty tiny fight," Urian replied.

They all began begging simultaneously like new born puppies crying out to their mom for breast milk, it was getting on my nerves. I glared at them as they practically knelt before me with their hands together, pleading. I could understand the Gaurdians reason for pleading, but of what benefit would it be to the twins. I was at my wits end, and Lemon noticed. She slowly stepped far back. I was about to blow.

"Fine!" I exclaimed. "Just one fight!"

"Yeah, one fight," they replied with grins.

So it happened. We were taken to the meadow close to the waterfall by the twins. It was a two against one fight, and there were practically no rules, except the one where you don't kill your opponent. Lemon was appointed our referee and a few of the eavesdroppers back at the lobby came over to watch.

The match was set. I stood on the left hand side of the coach, and they stood on the right hand side. I had no idea how I was going to defeat a giant and a vampire woman but one thing I was sure of was that I had my trusty blaster with me.

"Remember," Lemon said, looking at both of us. "You loose if you yield or get knocked out. Play a fair game, no bitting, no kicking, capeech?"

We nodded in reply, giving each other the death stare.

"Alright," she replied. "Now fight!"

I immediately pulled out my blaster, but before I could pull the trigger, Urian shot the blaster with a lazer beam from his eyes. I quickly ditched the weapon and dodged the lazer he shot at me by an acrobatic bend backwards. I did cartwheels as he tried to hit me with the lazer beams. Then out of nowhere, Silvia appeared and grabbed my leg, pulling me up and sending me to Urian with full force.

Urian caught me by the shoulder, and was about to grab my neck, but I deflected it, breaking free from his grip and creating space between us. This was supposed to be a fight against the strongest Guardian, I was getting slammed.

"Use your finger gun!" Lemon exclaimed from the audience.

Nah. That might cause extreme damage, I thought. I had to use something with less damage. My eyes focused on my opponents while my brain processed fast what I was going to do next.

"Forgetting something Guardian?" Silvia whispered from behind me.

She formed a solid giant hammer using her blood from her wrist and was about to bash my head with it. I quickly blocked the impact with my arms but the force sent me flying towards a nearby rock. My back hit the rock and I fell to the ground. This wasn't a friendly fight, it was an execution. I heard thuds as I laid down on the ground, Urian was approaching.

"Do not disrespect us by holding back blue guardian," he said angrily. "Show us your full strength!"

He pulled me up like a kitten in the mouth of its mother and glared at my face. I gave a nonchalant smirk as our eyes stared at each other. He looked down and saw my index finger and middle finger resting on his chest.

"Boom," I said.

At that, the energy blast I shot from the fingers sent him flying, crashing into one iroko tree not far away, and breaking the tree in half. Silvia looked at her husband flying, then at me. I fell to the ground on feet, snapping my neck. I guess holding back would indeed be disrespectful to them. I had to give them my all.

"Activate system," I said, looking at Silvia maliciously.

"Oh now things are getting interesting," she said, shape-shifting her hammer into an axe and running towards me.

"Treasure box!" I exclaimed, trying to hit her with my energy shots while she kept dodging them.

The moment the treasure box appeared, I pulled out the very weapon I needed. The one I won back at the Arena during the game of stones, and never got to use— the blaster gun! Before I could use it, she was already close to me, in the air, with a sinister smile on her face, my eyes and her eyes interlocked and in that split second I dropped the blaster and was about to shoot her away with my energy shots but she vanished. An action that took me completely by surprise.

Before I could respond though, I received a bash on my head that sent me flying into a nearby rock. I was about to get back on my feet when I saw Urian coming at me at full speed. Before I could fully stand up, he had already gotten close to me, I tried to send him away with a blast from my fingers, but he dodged it, grabbing my neck.

"It appears you haven't mastered Freeform," he said as he raised me up by the neck. "That's disappointing."

He was choking me, in hopes that I would pass out and they would win. But I was a stubborn bastard. I struggled, trying my best to break free from his grip. I looked down, and saw the bush on the bank rustling, then footsteps on the water. It was then I realised that Silvia had turned invisible, that's how she got me. I chuckled in my mind. These guys were strong. I guess I shouldn't have expected less from experienced Guardians. I was about to yield, but then a memory flashed through my brain.

I suddenly remembered what happened back in the Himalayas. How I was able to activate the system without saying anything. All I just needed was one extra ability, anyone. I immediately screamed system activate in my mind, and the screen appeared. I was close to passing out and Urian was getting tired of choking me.

"Yield you dumbass!" He growled.

Apparently they could not see the system I had activated. I immediately selected the ability section and picked the first ability I found. Subzero. The moment I mentally selected it, my eyebrows turned white instantly.

"Oh shoot," Silvia said as soon as she noticed it.

My eyes glowed blue and immediately I grabbed Urian's hand and froze him whole like an egloo, breaking free from his grip. Silvia was about to retreat but I was faster and I could see her clearly with my Author's Sight. I immediately froze her up, and it didn't help that they were standing on water.

Urian was breaking free slowly with his lazer beams and I had elevated myself with an ice tower, creating ice spears that I was about to shoot at them.

The audience cheered and the tension rose as Silvia's invisible state gradually failed in the frozen body prison I had created for her. Urian was so close to freeing himself. Suddenly, Laos ran into the battlefield, making us stop what we were about to do. Our eyes simultaneously fell on him. He looked up at me and exclaimed;

"I leave you guys for five minutes, five minutes! And this is what you do?"
